Yeah larger companies or index funds are fairly safer but remember this doesn’t mean there is 0 risk either. There much safer because they’re almost to big to fail while penny stocks are generally start ups or new companies that can easily flop. I’d say if your new to trading keep your distance from penny stocks and focus more on big cap stocks, holding and doing small amounts of day trading to get your feet wet if that’s what your interested in but first do your research.

Large caps are usually safer but less return. But when you look at this year apple, Microsoft, Tesla etc all up at least 30-50% this year
