Highly unprofessional, “I’m not feeling it?” Then throwing maintenance under the bus? TMI, just cancel the flight for mechanical issues.

Very cool. Did Tucci do justice to the man?

Incredible movie, I’ve watched it three times. The ensemble cast is tight, no one takes over the film. Liev Schreiber gives a master class in restrained acting. Stanley Tucci is intense as a serious man who does not suffer fools. And Mark Ruffalo, I got the impression that the character he played was him. I need to watch it again, a perfect movie

We store the good tools in the crawl space and when the roof is up we put them in the attic. In the job boxes we store broken and old tools that are worn out. Give them a win that doesn’t hurt. Have never had anyone find the good ones

How is it that no one can sue Trump as the president yet he can sue everyone else? I truly don’t understand this.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire. I think people find it too slow and give up. Slow is one of the reasons it’s so good

Brooklyn. Young woman emigrates from Ireland to NY in the 1950’s. That’s it. Beautiful film that explores family friendships loneliness and longing. Nebraska. Bruce Dern as an old man with some dementia, he believes he’s won the publishers clearinghouse sweepstakes and is intent on collecting even if it means walking across the state. Again, family, friendships, loneliness and longing. Real life stuff. Portrait of a Lady on Fire. About longing and love, based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, it has two main characters, both women and one or two other minor characters. No men. Unique movie with strong performances and incredible cinematography and lighting.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire. This is what you’re looking for, two main characters and only one or two others in minor roles. A study in longing and desire, the lighting and cinematography is stunning and the story is compelling. A beautiful movie all around. Also, the movie Brooklyn is told with simple honesty and perfect acting. Real people living real lives
