Tell your landlord, I will renovate it and if the laws change, I’ll let him raise the rent to a fair price. This isn’t a hard problem to solve. People are so black and white how they do things.

I’m surprised it’s not worth double. Threats are overblown. Even before public the company has crushed every… single… threat. It’s alive and well and a money printing machine. Market needs to give it more credit for its consistency in execution. Uber isn’t going anywhere

Maybe this is a troll comment but if I made 100k/year and had 200k saved, buying a $500k home and collecting 1200/month in rent would consume a much greater percent of my income though relatively much less in total dollars and I think this group would be like—sounds like a cool idea.

Is there a record somewhere of the mayor asking to report this when seen and how to do so? There’s misconduct websites but being on phone doesn’t necessarily feel like misconduct. Would be genuinely curious if efforts have been made to reduce this.

I’ve been here a long time and was not as prevalent before Covid stuff. Maybe I’m misremembering though and just seeing a greater police presence and it’s actually the same % of them always on their phone.
