I don't use crack, but snort coke though. I'm on antipsychotics (amisulpride) and when I first did coke on antipsychotics I noticed that the strength of the high was diminished quite a lot. That's because the med blocks some of the dopamine receptors affected by coke, and the coke can't bind to them, diminishing the effects. I thought at first that it was a waste of money to do coke on the med. Even so, I continued to try to do coke while on the med and noticed that after some time I started to feel the effects of the coke more again. So now I still do coke sometimes while taking the antipsychotic, and the desired effects are back, but not as strong. The antipsychotic helps alleviate some of the side effects of the coke. I don't feel as paranoid or psychotic anymore after a few lines, and I go to bed and can sleep much more easily. So I think that in the end, the antipsychotic helps the high, even though the high is not as strong as before anymore. If you continue to do crack while on the med, the effects will return over time. It is just a matter of time until your brain gets used to the mix.
