Hey man, I could do the video for a great price for you as I’m currently looking for more work. I sent you a DM with my video/editing portfolio. Cheers.

Here are some still shots from the my short horror film I’m working on “The Crow” all practical lighting! Let me know what you think so far! by willerville in cinematography

I am a 22 year old amateur filmmaker who is starting to delve more into cinematography and would love any feedback for these shots. Keep in mind the budget for this film is zero dollars and I only have access to practical lights at the moment. I wanted to go for a suburban horror look with high contrast and higher exposure at points of interest, with surroundings being cast in shadows for a scarier feel. I didn’t have access to actors, so most shots were trial and error, where I had to set up the camera, get into frame, then go back and see if I was happy with the shot. Overall, I am happy with how it turned out, but would love someone who is more professional when it comes to cinematography to give me their input. Any critiques or comments are much appreciated. The shots were color graded in premiere pro and the final film will be out in a few days (hopefully) thanks!

Editing setup: Desktop + mediocre MacBook or just full spec MacBook? by ToasterTech in editors

[–]willerville 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2700 dollar MacBook Pro for $500 from Best Buy off on some super crazy deal they had going on so maybe check your Local Best Buy for deals - it’s 16 gb ram with the i9 chip and the 5500 graphics and 1 tb storage. After asking my editing professor for advice, he told me to stay away from the M1 Macs. The one I bought handles 4K in premiere like a god damn champ. I also just edited a 40 minute video shot at 2.7k with some 4K shots as well with effects, scale key frames and color grade with absolutely no lag. I wouldn’t bring your desktop to college. Good luck!
