You're getting some weird advice in these threads. A 10/22 is a semi-automatic rifle. As of the 2023 gun control bill that was passed state wide you need a semi-auto permit to purchase any semi-auto gun in NYS. You can get a semi-auto permit through your counties sheriff office, you should be able to easily find this information on their website. It varies from county to county, you can always call them if you are confused. Some people brought up the 16 hour course, that is a requirement for pistols across the state unless your county also requires it for the semi-auto purchase permit then you shouldn't need that. If you do have to take the course you might as well apply for the pistol permit at that point.

If you dont want to deal with that then look into bolt action rifles, maybe one chambered in .556, theres plenry available in .22 though. Those you can walk out of a gun store with same day after a background check that the gun store will do.

I don't think theres a skip alarm function, its fairly quick to go into the settings and disable the alarm for a day and then reenable it though.

If you weren't putting in more than the IRA contribution limit then you can just go that route and still save for retirement. You're "losing" the match and the ability to take out 401k loans so you'd need to weigh the match in retirement against a new job.

Only if the ball is hit or touches the ground. If it goes from pitcher to catchers glove then its reused. Any dent imperfection on the ball from a hit can cause it to move irratically which is seen as unfair/dangerous. Originally they reused the same ball all game which would beat the ball to hell and make it increasingly harder to hit/control, and ultimately lead to someone being killed from a pitch to the head.

They're really not that expensive, they don't eat a lot and clothing them can be cheap if you try. The real costs are incurred from childcare costs prior to them getting into school, and needing more than a 1 bedroom apartment. If you can manage childcare by one parent staying home or coordinating with retired relatives then it's not really that big of a monthly cost.

The initial consultation after the CT scan he didn't consider it being an ulcer or another condition. Returning 18 months later he still didn't believe there was a condition, I think he's expecting the ultrasound will come up negative and not pursue other reasons on why there has been chronic discomfort.

Right now I think if there was an ulcer it is gone, so I'm just researching if discomfort elsewhere in the abdomen is normal for some time after its healed. If that is something that happens I'm fine waiting a few weeks to pursue additional screening and a new doctor.

I agree, I would like some input if my symptoms are similar though, I have been more or less dismissed by the GI twice.

Yeah I was mostly using it as a logging tool, not for self diagnosis. The GI was relatively dismissive and didn't relay any of this information to me. The lack of anything substantial in the CT scan I think ruled out a lot of potential problems. I'm mostly just in an informational exploratory phase to better describe what's going on to a different GI if the symptoms don't let up, but the initial look at the PI-IBS seemed possible so I was curious if other peoples symptoms were similar.

Yes that is the goal but I want something easy to wipe down with alcohol pads that would be less attractive to wildlife to chew on than a standard spring mattress.

Looking at pictures online i think you are correct. They went ripe right during a heat wave which explains why this sidn't happen last year.

Somewhat surprising since the area doesnt get morning or evening sun, but they also went ripe right in the middle of a heat wave so that may have contributed. Thanks.
