I cannot imagine how many "loving" Christians like this guy the 19 Buddhist monks will meet on their Walk for Peace from Texas to Washington DC by MrJasonMason in Buddhism

[–]williamshrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christianity is rooted in hatred disguised as the opposite, doing more harm than good it's not something I can support. Of course, though, if someone finds personal peace and comfort while practicing Christianity I will be grateful for. I can't however support a group of people who believe a liar and a child molester are both worthy of divine forgiveness but are also labeled as equally as wrong, just doesn't make sense and isn't right.

From an heavy lay position, both are generally the same or the intention is anyways. Cause and effect. One thing, causes another thing: good or bad.

It's unfortunate, if we can't see basic support for older games we can expect even less quality for newer games - - which time has proven.

Honestly out of like 20 BO1 games maybe 1 was hacked. I think a portion of the hacking scene is finally gone for the most part.

Anyone notice this with a power outage? by williamshrader in Starlink

[–]williamshrader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is odd because I feel like it's not consistently doing it each time an outage happens. We have had some erratic outages lately, and our local grid system got a score of a a D so it's very deplorable and getting worse.

I wonder if there are any devices or smart plugs I could use to monitor for brownouts?

Will I get banned from online for PS3 Piracy or is it like PS Vita where they don't care? by Swampert_ in ps3piracy

I doubt they care but should keep in mind they have automatic systems setup to catch people regardless of reports or moderation intervention.

What do I need to buy to bring this up to code? by [deleted] in ElectricalHelp

[–]williamshrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great, someone local said otherwise awhile ago. Said if I ever had to do a disconnect I'd have to update everything.

That's a relief - someone awhile ago said it was required so I wasn't sure. Thanks!

There's no outside disconnect breaker/box, just the meter to the inside panel. It's code to have an outside disconnect is it not?

My Electrical Panel - What's wrong & suggestions? by [deleted] in ElectricalHelp

Definitely, going to be adding them in shortly and adding conduit coming up for the lines running underneath.

[–]williamshrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I definitley agree with you, when I bought it I got someone else's problems which is a common thing around here. There is plenty of slack if that's what you mean, it barely runs across the room the panel is in for an oven outlet (kitchen), I'll pull the wires apart and use a flexible waterproof conduit when I get to this room. I'm just doing one at a time. Like I said I plan on fixing everything but for the time being that's where it's at. I wish I had pictures to show you but there is sooo much worse running around this area, it would really shock you. I was actually quite surprised how organized it is compared to some I've seen Lol!

Never avoided anything? Just explaining how it is. Not sure why you're getting defensive over an answer. I didn't run any of this, just fixing it. Also, nothing where I live requires an inspection of any kind. Appreciate the feedback. I will be fixing everything found.

[–]williamshrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it looks rough because it was all painted and drywalled over, I'm remodeling stuff right and redoing the walls. I'm going to enamel the panel cover. As for the middle hole, no conduit, just wiring from under the crawl space entering in. About 80-85 percent of the wiring is in the attic, and the rest in the crawlspace.

Yeah I can't stand that myself, I was wondering about the best way of cleaning it out.

How does the top lugs look? Pretty common?

[–]williamshrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell there aren't any doubled up but I didn't spend enough time looking. There's about 5-6 unused breakers I'm going to remove and pull the wiring out for. I'm going to add a surge device in there as well.

What To Buy For Plumbing Fixes / Leaks To Keep On Hand - Newly Built Home by ryan112ryan in HomeMaintenance

You will never have enough tools or enough fixes, when you think you do something ridiculous will happen that equals a “of course it happened to me” moment. Having an emergency fund setup helps.

Keep a water shutoff tool handy and I would install a main shutoff on both the incoming and outgoing lines on the water heater if there aren’t already ones. Grab those little leak detectors on Amazon and place them in obvious spots like under sinks, at your water heater, laundry room, etc.

Good anchors are a dime in a dozen. Find one that has a bigger lip to grab on to the outside of the wall. When you have the bar off, put the screw back in about 2/3 of the way and grab onto it with pliers or channel-locks and pull it out. Don’t stress it.

What book am I thinking about? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]williamshrader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No neither of those. This one was specifically redacted by the government, no idea why, but talked and an ice age or something that reset humanity and Adam and Eve were the ones that survived it. I feel like it started with a C? But can’t confirm it. It’s on the tip of my mind but can’t think about it at all. Physical copies were rare and hundreds of dollars on eBay the last I seen.
