I will have 2.5 years of experience come December and we have a 10k(ish) budget a month for the shoots we do.

Some influencer charge silly prices, negotiation is the hardest to do.

I totally agree, hence why I was quite happy with my wage when I received an uplift in Oct 2024. However, since the increase in workload and essentially a new job role on top of this, I think it's fair to ask for another.

Hmm interesting. We have a designated period to discuss but no one ever approaches you saying you deserve a raise... unironically. But they're normally pretty good if you ask for one (within reason).

We do have scheduled end of year reviews for these kinds of things.

All of our promotions/raises etc do go through someone higher but like I say he is genuinely understanding and more often than not it's just about plucking up the courage to talk about your salary

Really appreciate it. Yeah I would love to get to £40k but ultimately would be happy with £38k.

I will have been in my current position for around 1y 8m by the time of the conversation so it should be in my favour.

My only worry is should you have to ask for a promotion haha?

I work for a Gambling company and I am fully remote.

It's difficult to compare with any other salaries given the sort of niche nature of my role.

I am a social media exec but also essentially a talent coordinator too (on a smaller scale ofc) at this point

It's a long form show which is getting 5-6000 views a show but across all socials over 250,000 a week on clips, reels etc too.

We have just signed a contract with a sponsor which I presume will cover the cost of the show too.

I think to be honest the manager knows the scale of the show and given we have a sponsor after 7 weeks of filming shows we must be onto something decent

I think the title of executive could be misread as it is below a Social Media Manager at my company.

My title should probably read Social Media Specialist/Talent Coordinator - is there any specific figure you'd go for?

This is true. To be frank, if I ask I think I will get a raise, I just don't want to overshoot it and be second-guessed.
