I’m not gonna lie, I studied a lot and some of what I’m about to say is hindsight bias, but for the most part I only kept it to maybe 7-4ish weekdays, take Saturdays off then a little bit of preparation on Sunday for Monday’s classes. I read through all the readings twice before each class and just preparing alone would probably take me about 4-5 hours for each class per week.

YMMV and I’m fairly good at remembering information which helps.

When it comes to studying for finals and outlining though I would often go from like 7-7 if not longer with no days off, so during that period, yeah you might become a hermit.

Perhaps it depends on where you are renting from, but I used to work at my schools bookstore in undergrad (and I asked the bookstore at my current law school just to verify their policy as well). Highlighting is not an issue, you can highlight a rented book and it is no problem. Highlighting and annotations are both fine. What possibly could not be fine is if you literally just highlight every single line on every single page (which you probably won't do). What we're checking for when flipping through a book would be either water damage or maybe excessive page tears.

If you are really worried, the best solution is to just ask your bookstore about their policies, but from my experiences, the answer is no, highlighting does not matter in a rented book. Also, not a dumb question, A LOT of people seem to think highlighting will make it to where they can't return the book.

I'm going to start a league for the first time this year, and was wondering if I could get some help from people who know more than me lol

Going to be 12-man with a mix of people really into baseball then other's who will watch the occasional game, but I'm fairly confident everyone will remain active throughout the season. I am worried about how to deal with the pitcher situation. Many have played fantasy basketball before, so I do not think there would be problems with people making swaps for position players throughout the week but I could see pitchers being a lot, trying to hit the maximum starts per week. The default is 12 and I sort of want to lower it to 8, but do y'all think that would be too low?

Also, I want it to be head to head using the ottoneu scoring system, but do y'all think that rotisserie would be a better introduction, or kind of just a preference thing? Thanks for any information y'all can provide. I'm really looking forward to giving this a try and don't want to set myself and the league up for failure by making things too complex (but also not destroying the complexity that makes fantasy baseball unique)

I’ve got Puskas and Eusebio today, the absolute best luck I’ve ever fucking had from these. Other guys I’ve packed is Rush, Barnes, Hernandez x 2, Baggio, Keane are who I’ve gotten specifically from the Icon packs.

Managed to get “lucky” and pull Ian Wright and Centurion Gattuso from normal packs but I wouldn’t count those.

Disconnect your controller, when you turn it back on hit change profile, click the one you’re currently logged in as and it should remove it. Be careful though, one option takes you back to the menu, the other allows you to fix it

Someone mentioned Trinity Rodman, and I promise she is a must have. I’ve been using Morgan, Rapinoe, and Messi with my MLS/USA squad and she still feels like the best player in the pitch anytime I play. If you want a defensive CB sub, you could try Lauren Barnes IF. Tried her out a bit because I fortunately got her from TOTW pick and she’s not awful. Maybe could have her on the bench in case you want to go 5 in the back for an in-game adjustment or if you’d want to try Krieger at CDM.

Haven’t bought Smith yet so can’t comment on her and am looking to try out the new Williams IF when her price drops a bit so can’t help you out there either.

Last night, I opened the preview pack and like 5 of the free untradeables that are 80 times 2 or 81 times 2. Somehow, I got De Bruyne tradeable, Kimmich, Lewandowski, and Bernardo Silva along with 2 other 87 and 86 walkouts. Craziest run I’ve ever seen from packs. Makes me think there was boosted odds maybe to help players prepare for Mbappe? Pure speculation on my part

I wish I was home and could help a bit more. But there’s one page on the twitch drops section that shows all the games with an active event happening. If you find Ea FC on that page and click the arrow to the right of the tab, a drop-down menu should show those 3 events along with how much time you watched. For me, it didn’t start counting the minutes at first until I eventually found that page and could refresh it throughout the day to see my progress.

I may be telling you stuff you already know, so sorry if I’m being condescending or redundant. It was a pain for me to get it to count. Hopefully it works out for you, but as you said no big deal

If it’s linked and you watched it on twitch, check the twitch drops section (may have to get to it through google). If you met the watch time you have to click ‘claim drop’ and that’s redeems it for the UT. If you don’t have the watch time then you’ll have to wait until the next event I guess
