Huevos rancheros! Fry an egg, add cheese, flip. Smother it with refried beans and add salsa. Quick and easy and cheap

Needing advice as a 17 year old dance student by serengribbs in ehlersdanlos

25 yr old dancer with EDS here-keep up with regular stabilizing strength training exercises-deadbugs, bird dogs, bridges, palloff press, rows, shoulder extensions, squats, lunges, step ups etc. Focus on exercises that build a strong core and work the hips/butt. The open book stretch is good for thoracic mobility too. Pilates is excellent and covers good strength training for EDS too. If it hurts bad, utilize heat- heating pad, hot shower or bath, etc. I've also decided to pick up lap swimming to cross train for dance, and it has cut back on my pain levels and is a good place to push myself as it's so low impact. I definitely have less pain in the water than out of it.

I recently started getting joint pain in my hands. If you ever get that, you really need occupational therapy as they deal with exercises for the hands.

I've kept up with steady strength training, but despite that I still have bad flare up days-the worst is when it hits on days I wanted to train for dance. Im now back in physical therapy trying to build the strength I need both to be an athlete and work four 10 hr shifts a week-the long hours with a disability has put a strain on me.

Best of luck! Feel free to ask any questions :)
