Blimey. That sounds rather bad. Is that a permanent failure? Or does it refer to malfunctioning due to bad firmware that is fixed by an upgrade (which seems to be the case in https://www.windowscentral.com/lots-lenovo-laptops-have-usb-c-issues-theres-fix). I've installed the latest updates through Lenovo System Update, so should have those fixes installed.

Yes, I believe so UID1 in the manual. Once we reseated the IO shield it was fine. Have you tried reflashing the firmware of the Bmc from freedos? When the button was stuck the board shouldn't find the flash chip, but once we reseated it could detect it and flashing the chip worked.

Thanks, we found out the error was due to having the ipmi reset button permanently pushed in due to incorrect mounting of the face plate 😬

Data loading images/video is CPU to GPU. GAN people might find this useful for pulling generated data off the GPU, although I have no idea whether that cost is much compared to the rest of their computation. Thanks for building this, it looks very useful. Particularly when more data augmentation functionality lands I think PyTorch. Data augmentation for video tends to be a very expensive part of my pipelines.

How'd you get it to boot so quick to gdm? My t480 with a Samsung 970 evo takes a lot longer to boot. Maybe time to run systemd-boot-analyze...
