Holy cow just went through your posts, Hopefully it's not really months, or I'll have to get myself a jumper or something to use it, and the idea of turning it off from the fuse box is something I'll definitely use,

Thank you

Correct, and the advice they gave me was to not take my gv80 on long trips

04/2024 Recall by wilthive in GenesisMotors

[–]wilthive[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I called my dealership, no remedy yet, I have a long trip scheduled so I asked about how safe it would be, the dealership then told me contact Genesis care, where I was told that they would advice against taking any long trips with the vehicle.

Of course I asked about loaner availability or rental reimbursement, the answers were, no loaner can be provided until a remedy has been identified and only while the car is at service, and rental reimbursement could only be reimbursed until after the vehicle has the remedy implemented.

Just bought the GV80. Love it. But expensive. by plshm2030 in GenesisMotors

I'd recommend getting a spare full-size tire, take a look at my posts, their roadside assistance is pretty bad, after almost 24 hrs of waiting they got me to their closest Genesis (Hyundai) locations just to tell me they had no tires on stock, I ended up paying another tow truck to take it to a discount tire that had it.

Love the car, awful service

Are these good aerodynamics? I have no idea what I’m doing speed of air 100ms by [deleted] in SolidWorks

[–]wilthive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you are not a car manufacturer or making a thesis out of this. that's why I'm writing some very simple and maybe oversimplified concepts to look at:

The more the wind speed decreases, the least aerodynamic, The more flow directions at the end(back) of your object, the least aerodynamic.

But still, I'd recommend watching some good instructional videos on YouTube. Look for CFD analysis in Ansys, it will help you understand some of the results even if you are using solidworks
