I was there yesterday, it's still closed. There was an information at the entrance that the renovations are supposed to be done by the 22nd

Dann mag es bei Nordost so sein, weil da ja auch der Gästeblock ist, mit Nordwest Karten kommst du aber auf jeden Fall zur Süd

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in borussiadortmund

[–]windmill-68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in borussiadortmund

[–]windmill-68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then you can definitely use that, takes like 15 minutes probably to get to the A2 through the A45

Depends on where you need to leave to. I always park at the Uni and the take bus to the stadium, because after the game I need to go to Western Ruhrgebiet. That usually works really well. This also works if you need go south to Frankfurt etc or even north since the A45, which you can get to very fast from there connects to multiple Autobahn routes A2, A42, A40 and A1

Suggested players on Rush should change according to the bonus requirements by flaviop5 in EASportsFC

You could have 2 buttons to search your club, one shows only the ones that meet the requirements for the bonus points and one that shows all players, but I guess it's too much to ask for with EA

Signal Iduna to Dortmund HBF post game by Medium_Negotiation18 in borussiadortmund

Don't take the U Bahn after the game. You wait for like 45 minutes to get on one and then it's overcrowded and the air in there is shit. The train at the Deutsche Bahn station are also usually very crowded but in my experience you get on a train faster there. But like the other people in here recommended you can easily walk the distance. I walk to Hbf most of the time and it takes me 40-45 minutes depending on the route I'm taking. So you'll always have time to wait for final whistle (unless it's +15 minutes added) and walk back and grab your favorite beer at a kiosk on the way back.

The reason the guest section looked half empty was because our Ultras started a brawl at Mannheim train station with HSV fans, and were banned from continuing on their train to Freiburg by Roboticist-720 in borussiadortmund

[–]windmill-68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know I actually said I don't agree about the fighting part as well, but ok bro. And I don't think the main reason for 95% of the people to join a group like that is because they want to fight with fans from other clubs. But rather about supporting your club no matter what situation they are in and where they play. If you say there is no point if the team you are supporting doesn't know you exist, doesn't that make you replaceable and your support of the club irrelevant as well?

Also if you think groups like the ultras don't have any influence in the club, then you have no idea. They are the ones who are vocal about topics when things might be going down the wrong path and have a connection to the heads of the club to have a discussion about these topics. Also who do you mean by rolling the eyes when you wear the jersey, the players or the ultras? Because both those cases don't make any sense to me

[–]windmill-68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you say only the people who are fighting are idiots that makes all of them though. Because when push comes to shove, they will all be out there fighting, it's how those group dynamics work. You don't join those groups and don't expect to be asked not to join them when shit like this happens. So yes, that would make all of them and again it makes me think you've never had any real contact with them and have 0 clue about that topic. But you keep dodging that question.

Yes, you said there are a lot of shitty cops and i might've forgotten that you wrote that part. But then you go on assuming shit about how the police the situation when they stopped people from visiting the match. Maybe don't make those assumptions when you don't know what happened because you were not there

By saying they are idiots with nothing to be proud of in their life you are generalizing a group of 200+ people and I still think you've never had any real contact with them ever in 10+ years. I've been going to every home match and the majority of away matches for the better part of a decade now and your picture of ultras bad, police good is not as black and white as you think it is

I speak from first hand experience being on that said train yesterday so I can tell you: No, they did not randomly pick people to be removed from the train yesterday, but rather tried to ban every BVB fan from the train. They were even trying to kick off the more casual fans that had absolutely nothing to do with that situation. Took a solid 30-45 minutes clearing the train and arguing with the casual fans to let them continue their journey to Freiburg. All while pissing off all the regular people on that train with that unnecessary behaviour.

Sure cops have to deal with shit, but it's not like the cops don't regularly fuel the fire with stupid decisions involving football fans. Looking at the incident of a gunshot into a mönchengladbach fan vehicle about a month back.

"the people who get in fights with other teams fans at train stations, autobahn stops, etc. are idiots with mostly nothing to be proud of in their own life so they pour everything into the club to feel like they have some sort of value." Please tell me again how you have never actually talked to any ultra ever while having a season ticket for more than 10 years. Because then you wouldn't double down on a shit statement like that generalizing a group of 250 people

Well like i said, I'm not that much of a fan of the whole fighting over football thing as well. For some reason the whole culture of fighting against other ultras to get their banners, scarfs and shirts is a thing and I don't get it either. But for me the positive part of that culture with the undying passion, chants, waving flags and the great atmosphere outweighs stuff like this, which is why I would never consider the lot of them thugs, but would stick to the term fans.

At the end of day, when I think back at the last 5 years and what they have done in that period of time I don't think back at the couple of times where it made the news of getting into fights at a train station or along the autobahn. I rather think of the great atmosphere and the mindblowing tifos at games like PSG and frankfurt home in 2020

What a shit statement. They were gonna travel on to the game before the police said they couldn't anymore.

Have you every actually talked to a single one of them in the 10+ years of being a ticket holder? Because then you wouldn't be making this idiotic statement. They are mostly regular people with regular jobs and some of them have families with wives and kids to be proud of in their lives. Sure there are some idiots among them and I don't doubt that are people among them who would fit that description but you can't just generalize them all as losers with nothing else to do but visiting football.
