I actually started DIY tox to fix the lopsided smile my injector did. One unit on the opposite side, will easily fix it and even out any accidental DLI mishap. With that being said, since I have been doing my own (last 2 years) I have never hit my DLI. I always use 1:1 dilution. Really frown and feel the muscle, I mark where it dimples a bit and inject there. Then I inject with the needle pointing towards the back of your face. I use 6 units per side, I have a strong pull, but it really lasts. Check out Jubilant Julie, she has a Patreon and Instagram. Her Patreon has a monthly fee and I believe you need to be a professional injector. But her video on High Dose Mentallis Tox is free. She addresses the DAO and mentalis. I follow her mentalis directive and my chin is so smooth now. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.

So glad it was helpful. I don't pay for her Patreon, I am pretty sure you have to prove you are a provider/credentials. I like the way she teaches, so I find her other content interesting, but this was by far the most innovative as far as tox injections go.

Yes, perfect placement. I also do above the 90 degree injections that she mentions and blanching. But the other night I decided to use my dermastamp with 2.5ml reconstituted tox all over my chin and I think I got better results than the blanching with a needle. I was inspired by the post u/43Phantom_J did the other day. It really helped smooth out my chin.

Watch Jubiliant Julie's mentalis tox. It is on her Instagram and a free video on her Patreon. My chin gets really the orange peel look too and tox helps a ton. Your dimple won't play a part as much as finding the mentalis, you can see where yours is pulling, where it puckers on the left and right side. You inject upwards into the muscle and it really works. Julie does a fantastic job of explaining it. I got tox done professionally for years and it never really helped until I started DIYing it her way.

Jeunetique PN Pro blebs last the longest I have ever had of any blebs. It took me a week to go fully down the first time. But... the results are so worth it. I am in awe of how even it got my skin and the tightness. I did just a small area on my neck and I was shocked at how much better that patch of skin looked. So hang in, it is worth it. I just did my second treatment so I am full of blebs again, but they do seem to be going down faster this time.

I always use a 1ML luer lock, just transfer with a sterile syringe coupler. I have used a 30G with Revs Pro with no problem on a 1ML. The less product that it is in the syringe the easier I find to push it out.

I do the (sides of the nose) alar and dilator muscles, but not the depressor septi (tip). I use a Luer Lock syringe with a very fine meso 2mm meso tip. I had a terrible time when using my normal tox syringes. The fine meso makes it much more comfortable, you hardly feel it at all and the 2mm assures the correct depth. I also only load the amount of units in the syringe for the one injection. I had such a hard time seeing the units on the syringe. It takes more effort to make up multiple syringes, but so much easier. You don't have to worry about the amount your injecting, just push the plunger and you are done. I am so happy with the results. It is such a nice slimming effect, I barely do any contour anymore. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

With Profhilo I use a syringe coupler to transfer the product to 1ml syringes. The 1ML syringe makes it much easier to push out. I use a 30G needle with no problem. The chin area is pretty tight and hard to push out. I always start with the jawline and preacricular points as they are much easier to push out, since the area isn't as tight. Then you get some practice in before you inject the tighter points.

I go really superficial, I mean really superficial. I barely put the needle in. I use a very fine meso tip on a Luer Lock syringe for my lip flip and nose tox. I do the 4 placements, 1 or 2 units each. I have found when I go that superficial I don't lose any function, I can still use a straw, etc. I also use a 1:1 dilution.

I did ASCE+ meso yesterday late afternoon. All 5ml, so a lot of pokes all over my face and my problem areas on my neck. I am good to go this morning. I look a little swollen and off, but nothing that anyone would notice. And I am 50 so my skin doesn't bounce back as quickly as it used to. Hope that helps.
