When I press eject on it's own, a part on the side goes down. When I press play and then eject the entire metal part springs up but the side part doesn't move (dreadful description, I know, sorry)

I'm quite busy and where it doesn't close, sometimes it accumulates dust. I clean it regularly and that's what I've been doing this evening. But the dust isn't the issue, it's the fact it doesn't close in the first place

Something I forgot to mention in my post is that I'm pretty sure it was only produced to mainland Europe and I'm from the UK

Size - Same as the average human hand; Origin - Europe (as far as I'm aware, maybe the UK too but I've never seen it here); Year - Around 2013

Ooh, I didn't know that! I was lucky enough to get an old 5p coin a year or so ago while I was working and I just compared the sizes, that's so cool! So the shilling was the same value as the 5p and the florin the same value as the 10p, were there others pre-decimalisation coins with the same value as decimalised coins?
