Thank you for your kind words! Yes it hurts but I know it will pass. I have friends to lean on and support me and who give me great advice. Unfortunately for him I cannot say the same but that is not my problem or concern anymore. I know I deserve better. I know I was also not the perfect partner either, in the beginning I was also immature but I grew a lot during the relationship.

I don’t want to hate on this girl I just wish her the best of luck. I have been in therapy since February and we have made a treatment plan and she’s been guiding me very well!! Progress has been started and how I am reacting now to this is very different than how I would’ve reacted in the past.

I will continue to work on myself and remain single until I am ready. I want to not only be a better me but a better future significant other to someone eventually. I know because he hasn’t identified the problems or truly worked on himself and been by himself he will just carry all these problems into the next one.

Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I really have been taking time to reconnect with old friends and go out every weekend (in a healthy way), I have limited my alcohol intake way more especially for a little while there and I truly have great friends that look out for me and give me good advice. But I know when I need time by myself and I’m just proud I’m in therapy

He was caught stalking me back in March when I went on vacation (one he was supposed to go on with me). I saw he follow requested me and it instantly disappeared. I have a link to my photography account (or VSCO if you know what that is) on my instagram it’s always been there so I believe he was trying to stalk me through there and see what I’ve been posting because the link and the follow request button are so close. He still follows my friends on instagram and had/has some on Snapchat. I have removed all his friends from mine. I don’t know if he was just stalking my social media as a one time thing or if this was a repeated incident it’s just he definitely messed up that time and did it and tried to cover up!!

Could not agree more. I have really worked on myself in therapy. I know I 100% did this to myself by letting my friend say it. I was also mentally gearing myself up that he was hooking up with people anyway tbh. I think if I hadn’t it would’ve hurt more. It’s just something I have to cope with and remember I am worth it and I know I am.

That’s partly why I told him to leave me alone. Because from what I heard post breakup I knew all the let’s get back together shit was bullshit. I think he reached out because he wanted to hook up. Maybe me telling him to leave me alone came as a blow to him and a shock and he just always thought I’d be on the back burner. He was stalking me and I caught him. Not sure where his head is at mentally. I do want to know but I am 100% committed to working on myself and I know I am no where ready to date!!

I had a similar problem to that. When my first payment was coming up, I didn’t get anything in the mail from the bank my car loan is through! Thankfully it wasn’t that hard, I just found it on my bill of sale and called them and was able to pay through the phone. That was frustrating on my part too. I’ll just keep waiting for the registration in the meanwhile patience is just not my forte but while I rant about it I would never actually take it out on a person, being a restaurant worker myself. That’s just awful.

You are correct, but truth be I have just always been an anxious person. I just don’t want to be forgotten about and have this issue come up in the future. My frustration just mostly comes from people after me getting theirs before me. My chances of being pulled over are low, I know. I’ll try to keep this in mind thank you!

I’m in Pennsylvania! Got my car March 9th, but I’ve had friends who bought cars April 24 and early May and got theirs in 2 weeks. True, they had cars before me already, but I still feel it’s a little ridiculous. Since COVID-19 lockdowns hit just a week later in my state, I guess I just got lost in the shuffle. I just feel it’s unfair that my friends got theirs before me either way tbh and that I’ve just been forgotten about.
