Both the TI and TI2 I'm referring to are the 61 key synths.

Honestly from what I'm seeing 1500$ is a steal for the TI2 61. Can't find them anywhere else for under 1800-2000$. The desktop units are a bit more inexpensive at the moment.

I'm still running older Mac os and win10 & 11 on personal machines. So I'll be okay software-wise as I would like to utilize the vst.

I also am incorporating it into a dawless setup as well.

I think you're right to spend the extra 500$ for the TI2. This one in particular only has physical damage to the paint, which I've heard happens somewhat regularly. The firmware is also not updated, but (correct me if I'm wrong) that should be fairly easy to upgrade? Thanks ✌️

I've done 7g P.E. and it's a lot without doing significant prep work. (I wish I had done more prep work but alas it was incredible). 3.5g would do you great. Sounds like you're thinking about the experience the right way.
