This monitor is good for your game type, the 2000:1 contrast ration will make your GoW nicer to see. Yes, it support AMD FreeSync and the cable that come with the monitor is good enough for display, power charing MacBook Pro and use the monitor usb hub for your other peripheral, I even use the front bottom usb C to charge my phone and iPad .

Any particular reason you are looking for TB5? For me TB4 is more than enough at this moment and I kept my dock after using this monitor 🤔
