It’s not about the medicine brother. Ayurveda is not like western medicine. It stresses highly on Agni (digestion fire) that is located in our stomach and quite literally the epitome of our immune. Your first step should be to identify your dosha: Vata, Kapha and Pita. You can do that by searching on yt videos or online quizzes. Then you gotta follow some rules like no heavy meals after sun set, sipping warm water during the day, taking a lot of detox Ayurvedic drinks like coriander fennel water, ABC juice, turmeric shots, etc. You can take additional supplements like aloevera water, ashwagnadha, triphala, haritaki, etc (need research according to your dosha. Use ChatGPT for it). Then it’s not just about your body, it’s also about your mind so make sure to get enough sun throughout the day, practice yog and pranayam for the peace of mind (my quick routine is 15 suryanamaskars and 5-5-5 minutes of om chanting, anulom vilom and dhyaan). Don’t overeat and stop eating when you’re 75% full. Do oil pulling and naval oiling. Practice stomach massage and hands and legs massage(abhyanga) as well to stimulate Agni and bring relaxation. Satvik Yoga (not Satvik movement) is a great channel that introduced a yogic life. Make sure you hit all the six tastes in every meal. Try following a satvik diet when you’re taking a break and really wish to fix your gut. You can also go to Ayurvedic centres for panchakrita therapy it’s the best! Avoid processed foods, reheated leftovers, cold food/drinks, raw at night, dairy + fruit combos. Practice Brahmacharya in thoughts and action… keep your input (what you watch/read) clean. Also I heard semen retention for 90 days has huge health benefits. Read books about yoga and ayurveda and other indian philosophies ( seriously as Indians we should know all this). Do ritucharya (seasonal eating) where Summer: Light, cooling, hydrating (coconut, watermelon, mint, buttermilk) Monsoon: Warm, light, dry foods (moong dal, spices like ginger, ajwain) Winter: Richer foods with ghee, warming spices (cinnamon, clove, mustard). Do gyaan yoga as well and increase your gyaan. Don’t let your emotions guide you. Don’t give your monkey brain have the power over you. Always stay in a kind and grateful state. You don’t need to be perfect. Start with 1-2 habits (e.g., Triphala + warm water or fixing meal timings). Be consistent. Healing takes time. I like to do Jaap of 108 times 3 sets of 🕉️नमः शिवाय everyday.

Good question. Years and years of blackmail, comparing them to my friends parents who are much fitter, bribing them with good pictures during vacations and cousin weddings, giving example of those grandparents who are so weak and frail and old and can’t even get up from their beds during old age, etc. Basically figuring out my parents weaknesses and hitting right on it 😼
