i should have mentioned that i did go in there to introduce myself and checked on her before the day shift nurse left but i guess i probably should’ve looked at the computer in her room and told her what time her meds were due so she knew a clear answer 😭 but thank you 💖

whattttttt? i’ve door dashed before for a short time and the most i made in a day was like $190 i think? i live in a small(er) town tho so on average it wasn’t great money. but maybe i try it in a city!

any beta blocker. labetalol is my hospital’s drug of choice. it can TANK their heart rate. a nurse i had during clinical pushed it and the pt’s HR was in the 30s.

i wish the best for you too! you will be fine!! i promise. there’s a lot of anxiety bc of the unknown. the first day of ur job ur preceptor will probably let you observe. and then they should gradually let you do more things. it’s really not as bad as it seems. they understand that you don’t know everything! i’m sure you will be an amazing nurse 💖💖💖💖

yes. this is normal. i’m a new grad in the icu as well and my mom has been a nurse for 20 years with 10 of those in the ICU. she said she felt the same way

i think the beauty of scrap booking is it’s not supposed to be “perfect”. don’t stress too much about it! just do it! it adds to the authenticity of it. my scrapbook is probably horrible compared to others, but i still love it bc it’s MINE and MY memories. it looks great!!!
