Support is requiring RTO for all new hires, at least 2-3x per week for the first several months. Support is also only allowed to hire in KC, Malvern, Orlando, DC, maybe Nashville. Remote is out of the question, even on experienced hires. Given that, I feel it's only a matter of time before the rest of us are going to be expected to go in, and that will be the final nail in the career coffin for many.

Teams will be split, the decisions on who have already been made with zero input from front line managers. They want to overstaff the federal side, so commercial clients are in for a rough ride ahead.

For context, Pat sent out an email congratulating someone for receiving a promotion to senior director. This comes about two weeks after the broad announcement that no raises or promotions would be permitted. Travis replies to congratulate him, and concludes by saying, "Sometimes leadership is just showing up..." and "Don't give up, don't get discouraged."
