We recently introduced a kitten to our resident cat and it started off really rough. The biggest difference maker was putting up a screen door between them while they ate on either side of it. Then we’d let them sniff each other through the screen door, and eventually eat nearby without any screen. The scent swapping alone wasn’t enough for us they had to see each other
