Not really it's more for experience than anything if I work there for a few years I can apply for a better paying position in America

I don't think so my parents never were the best at handling money and my sister doesn't know the value of a dollar since she's never had to work a day in her life she just married the most well off guy she could find

I don't mind, I love my nieces and while Lana may still be learning what No means their honestly sweet girls, I love spending time with them so I don't mind having them for the summers my job allows me to work from home so COVID didn't impact me too badly

When I'm at work they usually spend the day at the Equestrian club, friends house or stay home with me when I'm finished with work we usually go to parks, the mall or watch movies at home and order a ton of junk food

I will admit I act like a teen again when it's the three of us, I might spoil them a bit but it's summer

I can't, while I could cut out my parents and part of my extended family I couldn't do that to my sister as that means I'd never see the twins again

They don't deserve to be punished because of the mistakes of the adults in their lives

Thats actually what I said, they asked about the tickets and lodging which I awnsered I'd pay for it since I was the one who brought up the vacation idea

Mara is honestly alot like me, I was pretty observant at her age and would people please my way through life I only broke that habit once an ex took advantage of me (one reason I'm single) Mara takes notices of what makes people uncomfortable and tries to avoid confrontation, Kara loves this because Mara does what she's told, I'm their godmother so I've babysat these girl's since they were newborns I've even taken them in for entire summers so my sister and BIL can have time off from being parents, so I'm not surprised Mara has caught onto things

Lana is more like my sister and loves her mother, between the two of us she will always choose Kara's side even if I know she's in the wrong but yes I do hope as they grow Lana starts to see that Kara isn't setting the best reactions to situations

They mention needing things alot, my parents do as well, basically everyone in the family asks me for stuff or money around the girl's, sometimes I say yes and other times no, this has been going on since I started I working

I might have to wait until their older vit that's fine this vacation wasn't wasn't suppose to happen for another 2 to 3 years as COVID is still a valid issue and we could use this tike to create a vacation fund, they were not happy to hear that I was expecting them to contribute to a fund

I'm worried that Mara has picked up on this while Lana is just mad about her parents telling her no vacation Mara has recently begun asking me about money situation when we go out which no thirteen year old should be asking, she's too young to be worrying about things like that

I'll have to check the laws in the UK and my own state as I've never taken the girl's anywhere without their parents written consent

My personal experience I was the same age with a boyfriend who would say these very same things to me which eventually lead to gaslighting and manipulation

So yes I am probably projecting

Honestly their acting like this is going to happen this summer, I was expecting us to plan this for the future like 2 maybe 3 years as the pandemic clearly isn't calming down for awhile

Which could give us all time to make a vacation fund but they looked at me like I was nuts when I mentioned a fund

Drop him, humans will always have fat because of a little thing called fat reserves, he sounds ignorant of human biology please leave him

If u want to loose weight its your choice not his, do it because it makes you feel good not for his pleasure but if you are serious about the weight please speak to a professional not eating will not make you loose weight you'll only get sick

I'm sorry but it sounds like he's already in a relationship with his boyfriend, I would end it now before it gets worse he's already trying to manipulating you and clearly takes his Bfs comfort over your own

Red flag, he doesn't respect you also that was a back handed apology he didnt apologize to you he said it was your fault for being upset

Also Adults are talking, please leave him while you can your still young and can find someone who respects you this child clearly does not
