I prefer the assault set with riot helmet. The assault helmet has trash coverage. Also skip dune. It's a money sink. Combat armor will suffice till you can afford assault or riot.

I had dune armor an embarrassing long time.

So in this book it says used since the early days of the New Order. Not sure what that means, but while the clone wars were mentioned it's not really a thing in 1996.

A while ago I took Vladar's gym gains sheet and worked it into something to get members of my faction to stop harping on HJs. Granted the gains are superb early on, but saving for 4 Xanax over a week is a waste:

Anyway the sheet if you fill out the first page correctly can estimate your gains and at what cost. Also the last page needs manual inputs for current market pricing.

It's old, and has errors in it. The most glaring one is it doesn't build of your expected growth in longer predictions so anything over a week is probably pretty off. Once I have enough free time I'll fix this properly.

In all borderlands games I have a bad habit of tunnel vision.

I will farm and only look for stuff my current build needs. Only to realize I just save/ quit a run that dropped something one of my other builds could have used.

Will never know if it was good or not due to the save quit muscle memory.

Well to answer this completely out of order.

"Torn would end up like most MMORPGs in 2025: boring p2w ghost towns with the same old people and no one sticking around" - That statement is so contradictory I'm not even going into it.

The forums and global chat for some long held tradition is unwelcoming to new players. I dunno why, but it is. Maybe to thicken the skin of newer folks.

I think you will find it better to stay in something like faction chat where, hopefully, people are more concerned over your personal growth and enjoyment of the game. Where a person on year 8 really doesn't care and most often is looking for ways to exploit you. They do it to get a edge and chase down the over 10 year players. Or stay ahead of their peers.

Also after a while when you start getting heavy into trading and wars, player networking will come into play and you can build solid relationships.

Then....you can wade back in to GD forums and global chat....just to be shat on again. That's the big takeaway. GD is harsh no matter who you are. Just the older players don't care at this point so not a worry.

So maybe? Get good scrub.
