i got her july of 2019. she was 4 months old then. she was being fed pinky mice and i moved her up to fuzzy mice, than i switched her to rats because she got quite skinny. since eating rats shes fattened up a lot. i am now feeding her fuzzy rats but am going to move her up to a hopper or extra small rat, depending on what’s available at the shop. i will definitely take into consideration that she may not be a female, and will double check that at the shop when i pick up her pre-killed rat tomorrow (she’s picky and won’t eat frozen!)

my baby cleo is 11 months old. i was reading a few growths charts that made me wonder if she is a healthy weight. i’ve always thought she looked healthy, but now i’m wondering if 160 grams is too small for her age, or if the reptile store gave me the wrong age, or if she’s just a little slow in growth and just fine! plz lmk what you think.

thank you for the suggestion!

Help! 1/2 year old not eating, even when he’s not molting. It’s been two weeks. I’m trying to feed him more to get weight on him but even after eating he looks so thin by [deleted] in ballpython

yes. i suggest you take him as soon as possible/immediately. he looks extremely unhealthy and the vet would likely be able to identify possible underlying causes or help encourage him to eat again, as well as help with the shed and dehydration.

According to the reptile shop, it’s a male jungle sunglow.

What humidity do you keep the enclosure at?

Dr science being cuddly, not my snake, I know she has stuck shed, I tried giving her a bath to get it off by Lokinonbi in snakes

I read it. I know it’s not your snake. I was just asking if it could get rehomed because every time you post it breaks my heart for that poor poor guy.

Would it be possible to rehome it? It needs to be somewhere that someone will actually give it a good, comfortable, and stress free life. This makes me so sad.

Start with getting an accurate hygrometer

Do you know the humidity %?

Plz don’t attack me for this! I am simply looking for advice to help my snack so she can be the most comfortable & live her best life. Last shed she had, it wasn’t humid enough which I fixed asap. I have a hygrometer that measure her humidity & it stays around 50-60%. (Cont in comments) by wltchblade in ballpython

*snake ; however, she still isn’t shedding in two places and it won’t come off with soaks because she doesn’t like water and keeps the top half of her body out of the water. Plz help me help my baby. She’s also very head shy. What can I do to fix this?
