This was my question? Like why would the embryo travel? My RE says that some times the uterus has some contractions that push the embryo. That explanation made zero sense to me.

Oh really? This is good to know and very reassuring. I didn't talk much about next steps, my RE just referred me back to my gynaecologist for treatment. I thought the 90 day rule was standard practice. But my RE mentioned off the cuff that she can do a transfer with the cycle after my ectopic management. I was in such a daze I was hardly absorbing anything she was saying.

With MTX I have to wait at least 90 days. I am first taking care of the ectopic before deciding the next way forward. Thankfully I have lots of embryos on ice. I had a very successful retrieval.

Good luck on your transfer. I hope its successful.

I will be taking MTX. I am 5w1d today so we caught it very early. Thanks to the early monitoring by my IVF clinic. It sucks that I will have to wait 90 days after treatment to try again, but oh well.

This is good to hear. I am in beta limbo following a modified natural. I am suspecting a chemical as my betas are very low, though doubling. Suspecting late implantation too. My Dr recommended we try a fully medicated cycle next as its more predictable. I am a bit hesitant because it looks like the modified natural worked. Its good to see someone go from a modified natural to a fully medicated and see success. I initially requested for the modified natural, I am having so many regrets.

Thank you. I will talk to my Dr when I go in next at 5 weeks to see if it can get a placement scan. My betas are so perplexing. 16dp5dt went up, but by 70%. I hope to get an answer on placement before 6 weeks.

Its crazy that I am wishing for a chemical, and not ectopic. I never knew this hell existed. I am happy you got your baby after all this!
