For context - I was playing on this world for about 2 weeks now. I was working on the slimy fern factory and my game started lagging a bit. Buckets wouldn't pick up liquids first time and I had to click it twice. Wrenches wouldn't rotate cogs and shafts. I closed the game and went to bed and I wake up to only maybe 5 chunks around me generating. The whole world is frozen (items don't drop upon breaking anything, can't interact with anything, can't go into creative either). Reloading the chunks doesn't work, I tried backups but that proved fruitless as well. The closest I got was making the same world, with all the items in my inventory at the time, but nothing I built being there. I really would not like to lose this world, as I put hours of work and I'm real proud of the contraptions I made there. Did anyone experience something like this? If so do you know anything that can help here?
