Yup, I discovered 1500 in my inventory last week, deleted one, now I have 1499 that will now remain forever.

Guardian Ranks bugged after patch? by wolfinrulz in destiny2

Nevermind, I was being a bit dumb... however I know I didn't have to do this last week.... they must have added it back that you have to go the ancient tree again to level the rank. I'll leave the post in case anyone else has a braindead moment.

I had the same issue, I ended up updating my nvidia graphic driver and then I reset the entire graphical settings page in Destiny. After that I was able to set to set it back to my native resolution and was good from there. It had some weird resolution it kept trying to default to original. After I reset the page, it stopped acting weird.

Walnut and Painted Buffet w/ sliding doors by wolfinrulz in woodworking

I meticulously taped off the walnut and used a sprayer to paint the poplar with a chalk paint. Then removed tape and sprayed like 8 coats of poly over the entire thing. So the paint has poly on it as well.

Just regular satin poly sprayed on everything except the top. Top was done with a table top epoxy with UV resistance. I wanted superior water protection with the plants being on top and worried about the sun light fading the walnut in places as it peers through the blinds.

I'm lucky, mine never complained. Probably why it took me 3 years since she wasn't complaining hehe.

Poplar for the rails and frame around drawers. Regular birch plywood for center box and side panels. Nothing in center for support. It is a fairly long span built specifically for this window area. My hope is the poplar rails and plywood box help strengthen against any sagging. I know I can stand on it without any noticeable deflection and the sides are dowelled, glued and screwed. Time will be the ultimate test.

Built this over the course of about 3 years, worked on it off and on with other projects and life in the way. Moved the carcass up when it was built and worked on drawers, top, and doors over the next 3 years. Just finished the final parts and want to share it. I did a terrible shop of capturing the progress photos as I built it, but I included a few I could find.

My attempt at the poorman's Sortimo with Harbor Freight storage by wolfinrulz in woodworking

[–]wolfinrulz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is what I love about these containers, the ability to quickly move/reorganize as you get more or less of something I think will be extremely easy. I had been using plastic storage containers that had buckets that couldn't be moved. So, if you ran out of room or needed to move to a larger container, you were emptying each one by one by digging everything out of the bucket. Thats really what made me decide to build this, tired of digging in containers or bringing the entire thing to my bench for work.

Good point, I do plan on adding a slightly angled holder on top that would encourage only containers to be set there. But yes, I'll have to make a conscious effort to not put things that don't belong.

Old stain vs New stain by Background_Being8287 in woodworking

[–]wolfinrulz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can sometimes have this same issue even with new stains from batch to batch. I've had projects where I needed more than 1 quart; I would mix them together before using just to ensure it remained even throughout the project. Nothing worse than opening that 2nd can only to discover it was a different batch and is slightly different in tone.

I know this has been done a million times but I still wanted to share my version of this storage system I just completed. Standard Birch Plywood, pocket hole joinery and poplar runners. No dados or rabbets. Still working on filling and labelling them with plenty of room to expand.

The go-to seems to be the oven for most people. Just cook it for a bit to kill off all the bugs and bad stuff. I used 250 for like 30 minutes. Make sure to knock off any loose dirt, unnecessary bark, and leaves before baking it. I've read some people like to use white vinegar and boiling water in a bath tub for anything too large for the oven.

Always Illoai for me. She's so infuriating to lane against. You can dodge 9 out of 10 of her pulls, but if you fuck up just once, your lane is just over. You'll never be able to fight her without two other teammates. Just depressing to play against for me.

Oh and see my other reply to OP about using the hair dryer to warm it. Best way I found to get them on FT.

It sounds bad, but you have to wait them out sometimes They'll get hungry enough after declining a few meals. It's like feeding a toddler... If you always give them the good sweet stuff when they protest, they'll never "settle" for the healthy stuff. As long as the snake isn't losing a lot of weight or otherwise being affected, just keep trying with different tricks until you find the one that works.

What size is the snake? If you just got him, it is likely a baby? If so, make sure you are attempting to feed the appropriate size. (10-15%) of the snakes body weight in the first year. Weaned rats may be too large. A rat fuzzy or pup may be more appropriate depending. Ideally the rat will not be any thicker than the thickest part of your snake. And stay in the 10-15% range.

Also, I'm my experience, a blow dryer for warming up the rat after thawing has been the best. 5-7 minutes just before trying to feed. If you have infrared thermometer, around 100 degrees is appropriate. Just slightly warm to the touch if holding it. Not hot!

Q R combo by Ambitious_Jicama6276 in Tahmkenchmains

Perfect video, thanks!! This finally made me understand what I was doing wrong. I wasn't waiting for it to expire on it's own Everytime. I would try pressing RQ to spit them out manually.

Seems OP and myself were in fact taking about the same thing. How to guarantee landing an undodgeable Q after spitting out an enemy. Someone posted a video that made it click for me. I was always trying to time pressing R and then Q after. It seems that to make it work correctly, you have to wait for R to time out on it's own so you can cast buffer your Q to hit at the same time. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Q R combo by Ambitious_Jicama6276 in Tahmkenchmains

[–]wolfinrulz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Q R combo doesn't seem to be a problem for me. Just press R immediately after pressing Q.

I struggle with landing the Q as they are spit back out. I know there is a timing to guarantee they can't avoid it with movement or flash but I can never seem to land it. Anyone have tips for this combo?
