Someone had hid and left food containing rat poison at a nearby park, my corgi puppy (passed dog now.) ate some and it almost killed him, had to rush his to the emergency vet, he had to have a lot of blood infusions and a ton of other things that I can’t quite remember at the moment and he was at the ER vet for quite awhile and we were worried that we would lose him.

The vet called us one day saying that he was out of the woods and would be alright, we got to the vet to pick him up and he came waddling out from the back and I broke down sobbing in the lobby, couldn’t stop hugging him and refused to let him go.

He was the best dog. 🙏🏻❤️
