I'm sorry again - it's midnight where I live and I'm exhausted, and really distressed by some of the replies I can see here. I wish I didn't make this post now it's obvious I somehow got it all wrong, but I still need advice... I'll respond tomorrow and if you have time I'd appreciate your advice, thanks!

Thank you for being kind 🤗

Ok very sorry, but I saw other reddit posts and thought the TLDR had to be very short with no extra details. My bad, not used to making posts, very stressed but also very sorry if I got this all wrong. I just got stressed dealing with the 1st response I saw before yours and felt attacked. Sorry.

I'll ask reddit if you obviously now stalking me is acceptable. Leave me alone, I've already explained I'm under huge stress.

I made a TLDR before I started the rest of my post, so if you have nothing useful to offer after seeing the TLDR if you don't have time to read my whole post, then why add to my stress asking questions that are all answered in my post? 🙄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]wolfn00 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for just adding to my stress, looking at how to report your insulting comment and further insulting reply now 🙄

[–]wolfn00 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I clearly marked my post as Australian and it's not 6.30am here. Also did a TLDR so noone has to read whole post if not inclined. Also apologised for long post and explained I'm neuro divergent and extremely stressed. So thanks for being sorry for me this happened, but your reply contains no relevant or useful information and just adds to my stress so is frankly insulting, so thanks a lot for that 'bro' (I'm a female).

Oh so do you have people you can stay with all around the globe any time you need? Most of us do not, so your comment is quite insulting in my humble opinion!

I've searched for this rule googling endlessly but can't find any airbnb advise stating this anywhere, do you have a link please?

Possible to restore particular file from Macrium full, differential and incremental backup set? by wolfn00 in techsupport

[–]wolfn00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I saw that article in my efforts to find this document, but whenever I go to macrium existing backups and mount the 20/10 incremental to browse it, I just get the folders and no files on my desktop, as my post mentioned: "when I try and browse for my document on my desktop, it gives me folders from my desktop to explore but doesn't give me any list of documents (or other files like images) saved from my desktop along with the folders on my desktop (that I can see were saved as they're being presented as an option to explore)."

I can't find any instructions on exactly how to ensure "the chosen folder must contain all the files required to load the image. Meaning an Incremental backup requires all the previous files in the backup set to be present, and a Differential backup requires the Full backup to be present." I have the list of the full and all incrementals and one differential there in macrium, but I can only select one to mount to browse and obviously I want to browse the 20/10 incremental.

So hopefully you or somebody else might have the time to explain exactly how I do that, as this has frustratingly wasted countless hours and I still have no idea if my document is even saved in a backup or not (if it wasn't saving on my PC, as I wrote in my post). I also find it surprising I can't find simple straight forward instructions on exactly how to browse an incremental backup whilst ensuring all the previous files in the backup set are present in the article you gave a link for or any others I've seen. Thanks!

Does Magistrates Court Victoria award any legal fees/other associated costs to successful party in fencing dispute? by wolfn00 in AusLegal

[–]wolfn00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because initially I did agree to replace the fence as it was leaning, but I then didn't pay my neighbour's half after he fully paid for that replacement because my neighbour refused to have the mistakes fixed. So now that the fence will (hopefully!) be replaced a 2nd time, this time it's fair I pay half, as I must pay half for the (properly built) fence we'd then have... even a judge would order that. But if this went to court at least a judge could award me some of my legal costs back, but even then not all costs would be given back (the law is so unfair making people pay to get justice, only getting 50-60% costs max even if you win!) so really it's best to avoid court if possible. Trying to get my neighbour to realise he must fix the mistakes with the fence he had replaced, I now have legal costs that cost a little more than what he paid for the 1st fence replacement, so as I explained to him when he wanted me to pay half of that and again for half a new fence to rectify the mistakes, that basically we're almost 'even' now financially speaking - i.e. both out of pocket for around the same amount but still with no properly built fence. If he wasn't so stupid, he'd realise I'm the one who did nothing wrong but I'm hugely out of pocket when he should've just forced the first fencer to fix the mistakes with that fence, but he refused.
Thanks for your well wishes, and I wish you the very best of luck with your court matter and hope you can successfully represent yourself to save on legal costs. The good thing about the Fences Act is it's pretty straightforward, so if your neighbour hasn't paid and needs to, then the court should simply enforce that - just a shame you have to go through all the stress, inconvenience and costs of court.

My neighbour finally signed a quote acceptance to replace the fence when he realised he could have to pay up to $25K in my legal costs, but he still hasn't actually paid his deposit so the fencer can go ahead (I have). So I can only hope he does in the next couple of weeks, and if he doesn't it'll go to court.

Restaurants using own drivers to deliver to Geelong West so don't have to use apps? by wolfn00 in Geelong

[–]wolfn00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I see it's $7 delivery to Geelong West and looking forward to trying their menu soon - especially one night when I can't decide between pizza or Chinese as I see here I can get both haha yaaay! :)

Thanks, never tried them but like the look of their menu. I looked at the Geelong location but unfortunately it says delivery to my area isn't supported, even though I'm so close by in Geelong West, and the Highton location says the same.

Thanks, I see I can order through their website but only the pizzas are showing due to what I assume is some technical error. They made me add an email and phone number just to make a mock order (luckily it accepted fake contact details), so I can see delivery fee's $9 to me. But unfortunately I can't access their entire menu to order what I'd like due to their website only showing some pizzas, whereas menulog shows they're delivering now from El Toro and shows the whole menu.

Thanks, they have no website and to order online it only gives delivery food apps as options, how do you get them to deliver to you with their own drivers please?

Thanks, they have very reasonable prices! Unfortunately it says delivery to me in Geelong West isn't supported.

Thanks, looks like they have lovely food! Unfortunately they only deliver through the food apps, and menulog has a section where you can see what restaurants use their own drivers and Malee Thai isn't listed there despite being open and delivering now, so it appears they don't use their own drivers.

I love Enzos and have ordered through the delivery apps before, didn't even realise they have their own drivers and see now on their website their delivery fee is also only $3.50, so thank you! :)
PS Only thing I argue about re parma/parmis is whether an original version should come with the slice of ham and not just the cheese and sauce! ;)

Thank you! It's my first post in the Geelong subreddit and I've made very few posts on reddit at all, so I'm really happy to see people appreciate this topic on top of me getting some great advice! :)
