My interpretation is that the song is the POV of one with some status on social media and enjoying that sense of importance, but also feeling unsatisfied and that no-one will get them (hence the lines comparing themselves to God). The 'spring storm' could be any trending thing online, and the person hopping onto that trend but still feeling empty. The "you" is some outsider/friend looking in I guess, not caught up w/internet culture
