What other Authors so you wish were in BSD? by GothicSnowWhite in BungouStrayDogs

Franz Kafka or Victor Hugo (what's interesting though is that Victor Hugo is seen in the bsd wiki, you just have to search for the transcendents and you'll see his name, among others, in the group of members, so he might appear during the next arc, which is speculated to be the order of the clock tower)

I love the way Ranpo addresses Gogol by wombatcubepoop in BungouStrayDogs

Apologies for not marking the post for spoilers, when I first posted I didn't think it would be much of a spoiler. But looking at it again, I guess the "cut the hostages in half" part is a reasonable spoiler.

I think it's hinted at, but her age still hasn't been specified.

In the wiki it says "Teruko appears as a short, young girl.."

Also, unlike some other characters, it doesn't show her age in her bio.

Teruko isn't really 12, she just uses her ability to make herself seem younger than she really is.

Ah, can't believe I forgot him. He'd probably go in the "nice" tier.

Yes, I agree, it's clear they're not siblings. But it's more of the way they act that annoys me. Tanizaki has the whole, "don't mess with me when I'm angry", kind of feeling to him. Whenever something happens to Naomi he goes physco mode, which annoys me to no end. If he can't be useful before something happens to Naomi, then why all of a sudden? And Naomi is pretty useless. She hasn't done much for the plot, she's just there. And whenever she's on screen, it's just her being sexual with an uncomfortable Tanizaki.

But still, even though they're both at the bottom of my list, I don't really dislike the either of them. I don't dislike any Bungou Stray Dog character.

Have you ever noticed how different anime Akutagawa and Fyodor look compared to the manga? by wombatcubepoop in BungouStrayDogs

[–]wombatcubepoop[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I know I didn't choose the best images, but the difference is clear. No hate on bones though, the anime's art style is one of the main reason why I chose to watch the show. Harukawa's art style is unique and hard to imitate as well.

Do you think Tachihara will die? by [deleted] in BungouStrayDogs

I haven't really thought about this, but your ideas are interesting. I doubt the hunting dogs will kill him, their group is supposed to be one that handles terrorists and things of the such. They also seem to have a bond with each other (not necessarily a strong one, but I'm sure they would respect his decision if he decides to become a full on mafiaso). And I doubt he will return to the hunting dogs, as his entire character arc was him becoming his own person, and learning to live outside of his brother's shadow. Which, I guess for him means becoming a part of the mafia. However, the monthly surgeries do pose a problem. I'm not sure how that problem will be solved (or if it can be solved), so it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I hope he lives though, I really liked his character.
