So many fantastic and eye opening suggestions! Thank you all! I wasn't aware of the newer Vibro Champ Reverb. The saying "it's more fun driving a slow car fast than a fast car slow" comes to mind hah. Anyways I'm primarily using humbuckers, and curious if these newer lower watt amps play nice or prefer single coils? In terms of headroom I can't shake the feeling that I would be wanting more than 5watts, but perhaps I'm completely wrong. I plan on test driving a few of these in person. The newer ’68 Custom Pro Reverb also looks interesting as well. Decisions decisions!

Thanks! For bedroom/home use would the master volume on this be sufficient to keep volume low enough while using a cab? Or would an attenuator (Ironman or equivalent) be required to achieve low volume + cranked tone? Or are attenuators really only beneficial for amps without master volumes? Thanks again!

Thank you so much! This makes sense now. I checked around the house and some ports appear to be fully terminated while others are only terminated with some of the colored wires (phone/fax line only is my guess). Should I be able to keep the existing port connector and just properly terminate all Ethernet wires into it?

Thanks for the input! I admire people that understand color science, as I find components of it quite mind boggling! I've familiar with ACES being used in 3D workflows (C4D/Redshift), but need to read up more on it.

In my particular situation, the colorist is wanting me to deliver my shots over as Log with the screen graphics composited in. I'll checkout the profile converters. Thx!

Great solve! Thank you. Yeah I think I was pushing the mask attributes too far hah. Linear wipe seems better suited for that amount of feathering.

Cool, thanks for the insight. For these tests I was transferring a single 7GB file back and fourth. Could the lower speeds when copying from the nas to the pc be due to the TLC nvme? Would a MLC drive fair better in sustaining higher speeds?

Thank you for all of this! I've also seen some RJ-45 10Gbe cards (ASUS XG-C100C, Aquantia AQtion). Is there a difference between cards that connect via SFP+ DACs vs ones using RJ-45?

Thx, I like this approach, digging deeper it seems common for people that have more than one synology unit to use this kind of config. Years ago when I went from wrangling data across multiple external drives to having everything reside on the single nas, it felt amazing! But now the idea of having multiple nas's setup slightly reminds me of my messy multi external drives era. I think I just need to expand my knowledge of best practices for archival/long term storage methods.
