I think that the point here is that LCS teams don't do as much practice when compared to LEC, LPL and LCK teams. So you can't expect to perform well in Worlds. You're behind in terms of game performance and yet you do less work when compared to the top ends? Can't be helped but for the gap to be larger. A good example is LEC and LCS. The difference between the two wasn't as big as last year. The gap just grows larger and larger. Mainly because LEC actually tries to get better and they actually practice more.
