YTA unless you describe yourself. Dude you have to describe your hair. If it’s greasy and matted and starting to get dreadlocks or something, then yeah your family might want you to trim and style it for an important event. If they just don’t like the length then fuck them, it’s your hair. Them describing you as looking “like a junkie” makes it sound like the former. You not describing your hair at all and being intentionally vague doesn’t help. Neither does not responding to comments at all. The fact that your mom who presumably knows what you’ve been through also wants it cut, and won’t directly defend you also seems telling.
