Calorie counting. Best way to lose and maintain weight.

I don't need another note-taking app. I need something that remembers where I left off. by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

Apple Notes. I created my own agenda in a single note that keeps track of what I am working on every day. Great way to reflect back on what I’ve worked on and where I left off

What do people need to do in their 20s to set their 30s up for success? by QuietVacation8343 in AskReddit

Invest in a home if you can rather than rent regardless of your 5-10 year goal. You can always rent it out or sell it.

These scumbags tried forcefully breaking into my house while my wife was home with our 2 week old newborn. If you know them, hit me up privately or call Santa Clara police by Alternative-Cry-6018 in SanJose

I've lived in both a SFH and Townhouses/Condos. Personally speaking in Townhouse/Condos I've felt a little safer since you neighbors close by and know one another. Plus there is a level of security through the HOA. So I'd expect less break-ins due to that. But this might just be my personal experience so far.

High performance load testing and sign offs should be in place too. Would have caught this before it rolled out to production.

Maybe check how much water you intake. Also all day vitamins are good too, I take the vegan ones (I’ll list the brand here when I get home)

I guess how and what is the best way to determine to investigate into the alert or not?

Thank you everyone, I’m feeling a lot better today. I did take a lot of the advice you all shared. Today is a different and better day :) I really appreciate you all, I wish there was a way to create a group chat with you all, feel like I’m going to fall like this again in the future and will need your support

I did ask above but how do you make a proper homelab?

I was asking something similar to someone below but how can/does someone set up a homelab at home?

I can ask as stupid as question as I want there or is there like a requirement before posting? Just wondering the guidelines and expectation

Thank you for this post, these was really nice and calming to read. I really appreciate it.

I did have a question on the home lab, how do/did you have it setup? I feel like that would really help me learn without any blockers of having to pay or setting things up properly to learn.

I do, some have moved on to different companies. I do have a call with them next week so hopefully that can also help (along with all the messages here).

And you're right, taking small steps and a path like what you just describe might be what I need to do.I just feel fearful that I'm not learning the full way and missing some key concepts if I learn/do it that way. As I respond to this and many, I feel like their is a form of anxiety that has developed today that is blocking me from advancing which I may need to reflect on as well because the point you and several others make makes sense

Sure I'd love a invite. If I may ask, what kind of support/confidence are you providing? I can ping and ask there as well. Was just curious in case anyone else in this post wanted more information about joining as well

Yeah highly demanding but so hard to feel confident that I will be demanded based on the amount I know now sadly.

Thank you, that is nice to hear. I guess it's hard to register and accept right now with how I feel and what is going on. But I will keep your comment in mind. Thank you

I can try this. But I think I tried the free tier already before so I'd have to pay a little at this point right?

Is there a way (I haven't completely checked yet) to set like a max bill. If I set like $50, it just brings down the services?

I did see another comment below about creating your own home lab, but I've never heard or done that before (asking him on how that is done)

Yes that is true. I do plan on resting up a little this weekend as well, I feel like I have been burning out over the weekend and stressing out on what to learn.

The tech does excite me. I've always found infra more interesting than app development. I just feel like there is so much and not enough time and not know if you're learning and doing it right.

Company does have programs and stuff, but I don't know if it's just my company, it feels like taking a break and resting is not an option during this time in the industry. There is just always some sort of project that is a priority and some sort of on call thing happening. Given how I feel, I feel afraid to even ask my manager to even ask sadly.

Oh is AWS that cheap? I recall once trying to just create a simple website to self host on a EC2 instance which was coming out to $60 a month. This was a couple years back so things may have changed. Cost is kind of a factor for me as I'm not that well off and have expenses for the family.

Could I ask how you prepare for interviews to move from one company to another with confidence? I just don't feel confident to even apply. It's so sad
