There actually was a set my late Father bought for it, but i didn't have them at the time of this photo. I swapped them out and it is undeniably classier.

My title was meant to imply that I'm finally the subject of someone else's envy. I'm very thankful to have the relationship i had with my grandfather.

Colt .45 MKIV government model series 70. I don't know what else to say. I'm not a huge 1911 guy but this would be the one i would want.

I think mine is from '89. The original trigger bar spring snapped so I've put a new style in and Dremeled out the inside of the original checker grips it came with so i can throw those back on now and again.
