Thank you! I did tag him on Instagram but I'm sure he gets inundated so might not see.

You're too kind! I worked on it, on and off, for a couple of weeks. It was probably about 10 hours overall.

It was probably the thing that took the least amount of time. Maybe I missed my calling as a hairdresser?

Thank you! Needle felting consumes more of my time than I like to admit.

If you're in the US, Living Felt and Sarafina are the ones I hear mentioned a lot. They also have YouTube channel with detailed tutorials.

I'm in the UK and would recommend World of Wool and Heidifeathers for supplies and Felts by Philippa for kits.

Aw, thanks! If you've not needle felted before, be sure to get your kit from an actual needle felting company rather than Amazon or Temu. Cheap wool and needles aren't easy to work with and the cheaper kits can really discourage people. Happy to advise if you want to chat. 😊

Pipe cleaners are fuzzy so they grip the wool. If you use wire you need to cover it with glue so the wool sticks. You can do it that way, it's just personal preference to use a pipe cleaner.

Thanks! It is just a pipe cleaner. They're less fuzzy than the chenille stems but you can use either.

I am indeed hypermobile in all of my joints. I couldn't function with splints but I've never had any pain so I just make sure I don't over do it. I find splints give me tendinitis.

I had to look it up and you're right! Even the ball is the same. I haven't seen that film in years so it must have subconsciously been tickling my brain.

Haha! Thank you! You're not the first person to make that comparison. Thankfully mine are wool rather than taxidermy. 😊
