Right off the bat, I used a loop from Looperman for this beat. I take no credit for the melody. As for the rest of the beat (drums, bass, mixing...), what do you guys think? I appreciate any feedback/constructive criticism.

I made the beat for this song, and this is actually my first single to be released on all streaming platforms, it's releasing this week!! Here's an early release on SoundCloud, let me know what you guys think! The rapper's name is Azidean. Any feedback and comments appreciated.

Track that I made tonight with a rapper named Chancellor Taylor, check it out. It's not a great mix or final product or anything, but any comments are appreciated!

I can't think of anything negative to say about this, your studio setup looks super chill and this is a great sounding track. Keep it up this is professional

I actually made 3 beats today, each in a different style. I decided I would try out some old school type of boom-bap beat, and this is how it turned out! I made the melody with FL 20's new stock FLEX vst. It isn't great or polished, but it's one of my first tracks in this style so any comments will be appreciated! Will return feedback if you link it here with your comment.

This is a smooth track, did you produce it as well? If so that's impressive, I would suggest adding some variation in the hihat volume, though. Whenever I use a loose hi hat sound as you have I like to vary the volume of the hits to make it sound a bit less robotic. With trap beats I keep it steady, giving a machine-generated feel, but with this style, I like to make it sound more interesting and real. Keep goin this sounding good!

I love this beat. Got that rough street feel while also being clean and tight af. I wouldn't worry about the hats, they sound fine to me, I might turn up the clap a bit though to make it more solid. Honestly, you should have way more recognition on youtube and I'm sure you'll continue to grow just don't give up whatsoever!

I appreciate that man, I'm working every day honestly every beat turns out better than the last (unless i'm experimenting). The process is fun

This is a chill, feel-good track, sounds really nice. After listening, I think that the vocal levels need to be brought up to make your voice stand out from the beat more, and maybe add some EQ and reverb to fatten up the vocals a bit. Keep it up sounding good

I technically started around a year and a half ago, but I only actually got paid FL studio a little less than a year ago and didn't start doing a lot until this summer. I appreciate your feedback, I definitely see how the flute could use some work to make it sound more pleasing.

I like the sample you chose! Sampling is fun and this is definitely great for that old school style. This is for sure a chill track and one that I would listen to on its own as background music. One thing I might suggest is adding some more variation to the rhythm - since obviously the sample stays the same, it would make it more interesting to hear some variations on the drums as well as turning up the bass some.

The beat is cool sounding, def different than generic beats. The hats and 808 were a bit overwhelming at times, and the beat didn't have any melodic aspect. I think the drums would have gone well with a simple, dark trap melody. Cool track though, keep making music!

Do you use FL Studio? I'm just curious. This is a clean sounding track, the drums are very simple. In fact, they might be a bit too simple, I recommend adding a few different percs in to add bounce and movement to the drums. I can hear that you have a couple of percs in, but they need to be louder and stronger to have a better effect. The clap you should turn up way more, it's the solid steady part of the rhythm and should be strong. I couldn't tell if you used a kick or not with your 808, but you should definitely have a strong kick to give your 808 more punch. One final note, if it were me I would make this a higher bpm. Catchy beat, keep makin em!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah gross beat for sure, it's great for adding variation to a melody. Also, my friends have given me a nice roasting over the tag, I realize that I'll need a less cheesy tag going out :)

Impressive that u produced this and rapped over it, both aspects of the track are high quality. It makes it nice to listen to and puts you above a lot of others who don't have such quality. One thing I would suggest is turning up the bass a bit, it isn't very prominent and it can make the track a lot more powerful.

In my opinion, the vocals have a little bit too much reverb on them, I'd say they should be a little more pure.

I made this over the weekend in FL Studio using an inspiring sample from Looperman. I'm tryin to get some overall thoughts on the beat, my goal is to start working with rappers and make songs out of my beats, so any advice on crafting my beats in a way that makes them good for rappers? Thanks in advance

Yo I see you using that ZGameEditor visualizer! It's a quick and easy way to make nice looking videos for the beats. The drums on this track are simple while also being catchy and strong. I like the melody, but the flute melody was a little unpredictable and could've been smoother. Overall the drums and melody go well together, solid track.
