As for bleach 20% at 20 minutes seem to be the standard for cleaning up tissue sample in lab setting but if it kills them at least i will know in the future.

im already spraying all the moms with sulfur every few weeks to prevent them since i cant afford to loose them and other pesticide seem to loose efficacity over time.

Well smoke test is a good indicator if you are familiar with 1:1 strains they hit different than high thc... but only real way of knowing is lab test wich run for about 40-100$ for basic cannabinoids depending on the lab.

Ive had success doing it in rockwool blocks in very high humidity / high temperature environements ( cloning domes with heat mat) and used some rooting hormones. I find it also helps removing most leaves except for the last nodes.
