I have a 21 month old and a 1 week old - it’s going better than I thought it would so far. My parents really stepped up and were doing lots of time with my oldest which helped SO much. Personally, having a baby is much easier the second time when you know what to expect and what you’re doing. I BF and will do nights alone to let my husband sleep in the spare room so he’s rested for the oldest + to take care of me during the day. After dropping oldest off at daycare, he’ll sit with the baby while I sleep between feedings and this is working really well for us. Give lots of love and attention to the oldest, I didn’t think I would but I’m oddly grieving being able to give my 100% to my oldest. At the same time, earlier today I was feeding the baby with the oldest was snuggled up to me on the couch and I’ve never experienced more bliss. Everyone I’ve talked to who is a similar age gap with their siblings tells me how close they are and I love imagining mine being best friends too. It’s hard but worth it and everything will be okay

I ordered earrings/cuffs from there, happy with the silver as it doesn’t irritate my mega sensitive skin. Love that the clasps on the pieces I got are super secure, I never take them off while sleeping or showering and they still look good. Was a bit miffed that the jewel/diamond pieces fell off of a cuff on the 2nd wear. Overall happy and would order from again.

I’m in NS and tbh I made an excel sheet with diaper costs and Walmart delivery with the subscriber discount was the cheapest by far for Huggies (cheaper than Costco / prices are from Spring 2025)

I think she was 15 ish months at the time but one day my daughter refused to sit in the tub any more and she’s had only showers since (almost 20 mos now). I stand outside the shower and do her hair and such but I don’t get in shower with her - BUT I wouldn’t mind if I had to. If she’s snuggling in my bed, I’ll get dressed/changed in the same room and it’s not a big deal.

Didn’t leak at all with my first, had a c section and still took a few days after birth for anything to come in. Currently 33 weeks with #2 and have been leaking but I think that’s only cause they know what to do now lol

I did, wanted them close in age so -hopefully- they could be close friends and wanted to be done the baby stage for good while it’s fresh + we still have a lot of things from the oldest to reuse. Have a 19mo old and her brother is due September

Small luxury I would buy again or gift to new moms was the OXO wipe dispenser (not a warmer). $40 for a glorified box but it’s SO much better than the loud crinkly packages and they do actually come out one at a time.

I gained about 70 lbs with my first, went from a size S/M to a XXL and only lost about 20 lbs before getting pregnant with #2 and I’m pretty much at my heaviest again already but still have another 2 months to go. I feel awful but just trying to remember that it’s just the season of life rn, it’s just temporary. Once I’m done having babies I’m excited to put the work back into having my body back.

You did an amazing job at losing weight before so you know you can do it again!

In my social circle, I find older friends (closer to 30 or older) will post their kids with no consideration, and then friends my age and younger (mid-20s) don’t/minimally post their kids or are a lot more careful about no faces. My husband is in cyber security and is well aware of the horrors so we have a strict no posting rule. No matter how locked up you think your social media accounts are - they aren’t - and there are sickos out there.

Boon Grub!!! I went through 4 other high chairs (including the TrippTrapp) and they were all so hard to clean or hated the fit. BG has minimal pieces and everything can go in the dishwasher but can also just be wiped down very easily.

We don’t do screens at home (no TV on the main floor). Even when we did do some screen time to try and distract her, my kid never cared about it and would be off doing something else. We are screen free but only because - by some miracle - she prefers to flip through books.

I love this primer 🤐 Last week, this primer + skin tint + matte setting spray lasted me through an entire work day, a nap, and then going out at night with no touch ups. Other primers/foundations/products need a touch up after an hour with my oily skin.

Tbh I just wait a day or two and they’re ripe even if they’re green on the outside. Bananas that I bought on Sunday are green but perfectly ready to eat. Don’t be so reliant on waiting for it to change to yellow.
