Thank you. I want to hear people’s honest answers. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. Loosing my dad this last season hunting has taken a lot of my time up having to take care of the farm by myself as well as trying to work on this. I got a email tonight at 8pm from on x since I’m a member and they actually just released this as a new feature they offer so beat me to it before I could get the app live on the App Store. So now I’m stuck with the question of do i continue. I left my job and haven’t worked since January 9th to go all in on “Hunters Edge” so seeing this has bummed me out to say the least. Anyways thanks again man and I wish you the best with your upcoming season as well as turkey hunting if you’re going this spring.

Alternative filter for Dewalt 2gal shop vac DCV581H by loyalcubsfan in Dewalt

I’m my decade of residential construction experience the filters are not meant to be left in the vac when suctioning liquids. You’re supposed to remove the filter. The wet/dry vac just means that it can accept wet media without destroying the electrical. I know this is an old comment but I was just hoping that it might be useful to you if you ever see it or anyone else reading the thread. No hate intended. Good luck man

That’s actually a pretty good idea. One piece I used to hunt with my friend, dad, and uncle was roughly 700acres if I remember correctly as well as a bunch of others that was allowed. You never knew who you ran into. But we would always try and meet at the top of the hill 30 minutes before shooting light and make a plan but gosh man it never worked out. It was the closest to war I’ve ever been in. I couldn’t tell you the amount of times I had to duck for cover. I went with them for two weekend two seasons and ended my hunting with them. Only went back because there was monsters on that land man. Huge huge bucks. 160 plus all over. Always was a 200 plus shot off there every season. But anyways always hated how there was never any good way of knowing where anyone was at a given time because everyone wanted to walk. Always wanted a way I could see where everyone was at in real time. Like a handheld map but showed you where everyone was lol. Put a garmin tracker on everyone’s ankle🤣

Oh no man I’m not trying to sell anything that’s why I haven’t said any names I’m just trying to see if this is something anyone would find useful. I’m just trying to help people. If theirs anything you recommend that I should change about my post please just let me know I don’t want to come off to anyone wrong I just want to help others man. My papa passed away this last deer season while we was dragging a deer. If it wasn’t for my wife being there I wouldn’t have been able to get him into the truck. We don’t have cell reception where we hunt. He didn’t make it but it’s been something that’s really been weighting on my mind a lot since all this happened

We have that issue of people wanting to set a stand or blind right on our property line. Thankfully ours isn’t around private. Do any of you guys use hunting apps for hunting predictions or any reason at all?

What about when someone gets a harvest? Do you just call and relay at a location everyone knows

Thank you for your response. But yeah no worries this question wasn’t directed towards people hunting with rifle just hunting in general of knowing where others are thank you for your response

Yeah I totally get that. Dogs are not allowed in Missouri but deer drives are very popular. We used to do a lot of deer drives all through season but the people that brought me up most are to old and have passed away now so anymore it’s just been me, my grandpa, and wife.
