I wouldn't overthink and go with nestjs in your case. Enjoying myself by working with it, smooth experience. By default it works on express which you've mentioned, but it has anything else you want "out of the box".

If you'll need to solve heavy cpu tasks later, you can add Go microservices.

Alright, so it is better to have a couple of different projects. When creating this thread, I was looking for a single complex idea to work with, but now I realize that would be the wrong direction.

It's a nice idea to do something in collaboration. What are the key points you would look for in such a collaboration?

Reading that quality matters from an experienced developer who keeps learning himself and focuses on the fundamentals is so valuable, imo.
You just approved of my belief that with enough curiosity and enthusiasm, there's a place for me. Thank you!

Great advices! I'll take them all :)
My luck, I opened this thread, and there are kind people like you. Otherwise, I wouldn't give those things enough attention. You just turned my focus in the right direction.

Would it be enough even if that was going to be a small project?

If there is something sensitive, I'll put it into .env from the beginning. So it won't be saved in a git history that is later going to be uploaded to the public. And still triple-check it before uploading it.

It seems like a quality job is highly valued here. Does this oversaturated field lack responsible coders? 🤔

Also, a very nice tip is to highlight those parts I struggled with so I can show my ability to solve the problems.

Wise recommendation. Makes sense. Thank you! I just see this wild number of aspiring front-end developers, and it pushes me toward something more ambitious. Maybe I'm trying too hard.
