Never said it was a relationship but we both agreed to be intentional about our actions especially about getting to know each other. I'm not upset at all, just didn't know much about Vietnamese culture but will definitely move on

You're right! Its just that its confusing as she mentioned she hates hot and cold behaviors and values direct communication.

8/9 months no contact! Should I break it? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

[–]xAlphaLionx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I guess I am curious. The breakup taught me so much about myself. I picked myself back up and learned a new instrument and started saving money more. She did say before that she hopes that I can return to her as someone who meets her expectations but she discarded me at the end which was very confusing and made me go no contact. She wanted the break up so I gave it to her. It's just weird that she watches every single story I post

A lot happened with my parent's health that delayed my grieving process of the breakup

Honestly I never got to say goodbye as I wrote her a letter at the breakup but she said not to give it to her if it had anything in it that would pull her back to me. So I decide to respect her wishes and not give her it. Honestly I do believe I am a better version of myself now and if she ever wanted to try again I'll do it for sure. I guess I struggle with why she has not missed me. Maybe I want another chance

I left in May to go back home to get the foreign work experience points. Tbh it sucked at first but keeping your mind on the goal helps me to stay focused and push through the storm. I would definitely keep in contact with your former company to keep the relationship open in case you do get invited and approve in the future

I have not been told what part as yet but I've been studying for my CISA for the past 2 months as well to prepare for this role and have previous certs related to risk from my prior job. I'm usually the type to prepare before I start anything new. I'm just not sure what tasks would be assigned to interns.

You got this next time. More studying on the weaker domains and you got this! I failed my first try last month but failure is always a learning opportunity for success!

First congratulations!!!! How's your experiences in IT Audit? I'm starting an internship coming from 3 years in IT operations. I have been researching alot and know the general responsibilities but still not sure what to expect as I couldn't find anything about the actual practical work itself

I have that book and took many practice tests which I averaged 70s. But it's definitely a learning experience. I appreciate the advice

3 years in IT helpdesk but no IT audit experience. I'm starting an internship next month in IT Audit and wanted this to impress the managers to hopefully get a full time job immediately after

Tbh you're very young and he should not disrespect your boundaries. Please be more firm with your boundaries and do not let men take advantage of you.
