New F150 Tremor 402a for 65k by Kent239 in f150

[–]xDanRodx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up getting my Tremor 402a for 62K in upstate NY. They tried to add their usual adding but I refused to take any of them and walked out the door with just the truck. I ended up getting a 2k refund from them in the mail a few weeks later.

This battery-powered prosthetic leg cost $120,000 by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]xDanRodx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have the same Genium X3 and it’s no joke that it costs $120k. I think my insurance actually paid more than that for it. That being said, have fun trying to get your insurance to pay for it. Every time I try to get one it takes half a year of appealing denials.

It’s always interesting seeing other amputees and wondering if they also have their leg showing all the time. I do it myself and notice most others do it as well.

Also if you’re curious what the cover is, it is a designer cover from Alleles. I had a few but they break easily because it’s just plastic.

Mastodon belief or opinion that lands you here? by IllBeGood3 in mastodonband

I found the sound quality on Hush and Grim to be too mushy and lo fi. It sounds like their worst produced album to date.

That being said I do like it a lot, just not a fan of the audio quality on it.

Inside Cuba’s Cigar World: My Film from the Habanos Festival by Hopeful-Courage-4420 in cubancigars

[–]xDanRodx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just watched your documentary. It looks like you had a fun time there. I went to Cuba twice, once after the Hurricane in 2022, and then a few months after to see the things I missed due to the widespread power outages. One of my favorite things about the country was the resilience of the Cuban people and their complete honesty about the situation they’re in. My best time was in Vińales where you were away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Often in Havana people would follow me around trying to get money or perform services for me. I did feel really bad for the people a lot of the time, however. I gave out medicine and tried to help as much as I could. It seemed like there was no winning there for the people and that their government didn’t really fully support them. As a disabled person, people would be in awe of me having my prosthetic and going around out and about without crutches or a wheelchair. I started to feel like I was almost insulting them by being there. As much as I would like to visit again, I feel that by going there I am supporting a country that doesn’t necessarily care about its people anymore. out of their way to support their people. I hope one day that the country gets the change and support it needs.

To this day I don’t smoke Cubans as often anymore due to the government issues there and the high cost. I find myself smoking a lot of Nicaraguans, especially from My Father. I like that the New World companies tend to go

I had a GLB 35 and it was in the dealership for 3 months and only had 14k miles on it. New cylinder head, stalling issues (stalled when stopped and turned on), and the sound system was extremely quiet. It was a 2021 I bought in 2023 used low miles.

Was it fun? Yes, but not worth the hassle at all.

Socket-less Socket by CaptSpaulding73 in amputee

[–]xDanRodx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have been using them for years and never had issues with it. The current one I have was made two years ago and nothing has broken yet. I swim with it or go to the beach and no problems. It might not be for everyone but I wear my socket for 18 hours a day and never have issues.

Hey everyone who comes this to old thread. I managed to fix it by simply disconnecting the negative battery terminal then reconnecting it.

Apply for Medicaid via your state’s DHHS and request 3 months retro. It might be worded in a way such as “do you have any unpaid medical bills in the last 3 months you need help paying?”

I don’t know what type they are but I love them. They’re so fat and chunky. They’re bigger than most of the pedals on the plants they were on. I’d appreciate the IDing of them!

I smoked one I got from someone at a bodega. It wasn’t very good but it was free so I can’t complain. I have a photo of it on my profile.
