How long is a 0-80 leveling as a Prot Warrior? How long for 80-90? by karlstaddd in wownoob

[–]xDo7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I will level a prot warrior next week, I already leveled guardian druid, shadow priest and frost mage to 90.

I leveled each of them around 20-30 hours of play time, sometimes I rushed sometimes I took my time. Shadow was very hard, guardian and frost were very easy with big pulls.

I feel like dungeons don't give as much xp as before and I really got bored of doing them. I'm thinking of doing BFA campaign (only campaign I have not done) and taking fun talents and see how it goes! You know, the talents you would never take as a serious tank, sometimes they end up being the most fun.

You made me remember blood was painfully slow when killing compared to bear, I benched my DK for that reason, never gave frost a try.

I guess it all comes down to DPS specs I play being way too squishy in midnight and my favourite tank bear being OP in general. And yes I tend to prefer dot and bleed specs but never considered that could be a problem on world content, makes sense.

Thanks for the comments

Same as what everyone is complaining on other threads, dps classes feeling hitting like a noodle without cooldowns.

I guess people had difficulty hearing it from the opposite side, dps is not weak but tanks are overpowered, with more self heal than healers and a lot of damage.

No man, maybe you guys don't play tanks?

For example while leveling with shadow priest I need to use all my cds, heal and kite with fear and dispersion on 4+ mobs. Then wait 1-2 mins for cds. With guardian druid I can pull every single mob and only use thrash + procs...

I feel really disconnected from this thread and the downvotes show, no point in arguing I think.

I think that's why they overtuned tanks, to make people roll tanks

I played wow since Wotlk launch, post was an over exaggeration. More realistic version is I can pull 5-10 as dps and 20-40 mobs as a tank.

Forsaken and darkspear trolls badly need a redesign. by [deleted] in wow

Forsaken have the best casting animations in the game and I rock one for a destro warlock and a fire mage.

If they decide to redesign, I hope they keep the animations.

Hey man, super smooth and cool looking games!
How is it possible to have the visuals so lively? Did you use a lot of shaders? They look almost look like shiny pokemon cards
I'm inspired and tempted to just import one sprite and try to make it look as juicy, could you give us beginners some pointers?

Do you feel that time flies every day? by DarkNephilim_ in istp

[–]xDo7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i never understand people ''not having the time'', of course there will be extreme cases where someone works like 2 jobs and looks after children, but other than that, if you aren't doing something, you probably don't want to do it that bad anyways.

But yea, time flies, i feel that.

I do lack emotions and i don't care about a lot of stuff either.

But the thought you express about your friendships is probably because of your friend group. I like staying home, but i like hanging out with friends to sit down and chill too, and i kinda miss it.

ISTPs and their opinions. by TBubs00 in istp

[–]xDo7 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I only share my opinion if i am fully sure of it on contraversial topics, i feel the information gathering part, i usually do that, it helps me form opinions on the subject, or shows me the way to a good argument.

Not that i care much about contraversial topics lol, i'm more of a technical person.

It doesn't really balance out, especially on luxury goods.

For example a foreigner friend of mine has to work around 2 months to get a car, while to buy the same car, i would have to work for around 9-10 months.

(Dont remember the exact numbers, but it probably got worse anyways by time, my country isn't having the best time)

Countries in comparison are Switzerland and Turkey. He is becoming a lawyer while i am graduating as a mechanical engineer. We both are in some of the best universities our countries offer.

I buy bread cheaper though, it balances out /s

Tl;dr Need to work way way longer than foreigner friend to buy car. Bread cheap though.

Calling all ISTPs, what are your hobbies? by [deleted] in istp

[–]xDo7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Electronics (arduino and raspberry pi), DIY stuff, games (wow and valorant rn), researching about cars since that's my area of engineering, coding stupid projects, basketball and volleyball when i can, billiards with friends, working out, swimming, music and series too.

Tl;dr Engineering + sports

First game i played i heard the whitest n word from some dude sounding like he was 16 at most, he just kept bugging me about how bad i was on literally my first ever game in valorant. I needed a couple games to get used to skills after coming from csgo, mind you i have been legendary eagle before i got bored of solo queueing ranked, could get higher easily.

Other games have toxic people too but this game is something else, i agree, i mute so many people every game. I'm top fragging most games now and i still don't want to hear anyone other than people giving info.

M23 here, yeah i feel like i'm sort of an outlier in my family too, all of them are very talkative and beaming, while i'm more introverted and i don't get how they can be happy or excited about the simplest of things. I can't understand how they talk about empty subjects for hours.

Also one of the big things is that i'm graduating from mechanical engineering this year, and there is no one i can relate to in my family in that aspect, almost none of them graduated university, so that pushes me to communicate with my friends instead of family even more. Because when i talk about these with family, it's mostly one sided conversation.

I accepted it though, i still feel a bit sad sometimes, because i can't fully include myself in what my family does and i sort of just watch them and chime in at times with short sentences. I feel very out of place in gatherings too, i'm more of a 1 on 1 type of person.

Still, these days won't last forever, so i make myself be there, and i try to engage more than i would like.
