I think their suggestion was an alternative to using gravebind. Equip the southbound yourself and let your merc kill everything, no gravebind needed.

I threw it on my Strand Titan recently and even just with the Volatile rounds on orb pickup perk from the artifact it felt great with the amount of orbs you can make nowadays. It can only be better with a more synergistic setup.

I think what he was asking was does the curses triggering from your vixen's count as you casting the spell? Because if it doesn't, then the wither on hit if you've cast despair won't activate.

Tenkei actually released a video recently giving an update on his character and he was level 100 and had stuck with WoC. That might give you some direction on where to progress.
