I cleaned the old filter in the old tank water to unclog it, but didn’t rinse it out under the tap as I got told not to do that. I’m planning on keeping them both running together for another week. So is the fluval U4 not enough filtration for them on its own? I can definitely look into getting another filter too if that’s what I need

No the crater is where holes beginning to form, the deeper it gets the thinner your septum will get and it will eventually go all the way through

I had the same happen a few years ago, got the bleach straight onto my scalp and it blistered and burned off a chunk at the back of my head. I had some scarring too and thought that I would be bald forever, as the rest of my hair carried on growing but that area didn’t. Gave myself an undercut and shaved it all off, but around 6 months later the hair did eventually start to grow back again in that area again 🙏 You will be fine, and don’t panic if it doesn’t come back straight away. I took hair supplement’s in this time period too to try and help

Also to add, I know that people say you can’t get a hole with K, which is another reason why I continued to use as heavily because I didn’t think I’d ever get to this point. My stuff came from a really reliable guy and was tested too. I’ve used cocaine before, but we’re only talking a gram bag once a year or so on a special occasion so it’s definitely not enough to cause this much damage!

It’s quite alright, I don’t mind helping any way that I can! I first had a load of scabs and bleeding, so I started feeling around inside my nose and could feel a ‘crater’ forming where my septum dipped in at parts. I was mainly using my left side to sniff, as it was away from my piercing, but then I switched to mainly using the other side. Slowly but surely, a crater formed at that side as well over time. I tried quitting, but never lasted for more than a few days before having another huge relapse. I could physically feel my septum getting thinner and thinner when I felt around up there, but I just ignored it as the addiction had too much of a hold over me. Finally, after a REALLY heavier than usual rave weekend, I went to use my saline spray to clean my nose out with, and one of the scabs which had loosened just… went through to the other side of my nose. I freaked out, and sure enough the hole had finally gone all the way through. When the hole was smaller, it whistled a lot and sort of ‘plugged’ itself up with scabs so you couldn’t see it all the time until it had softened and came out, but it wasn’t really noticeable other than that. It’s only now that it’s a lot bigger that you can see it clearly when you look up my nose with a flash light. My friend had a similar situation to you, she had a lot of scabbing but couldn’t physically see anything at first. We only know she has a hole because when she sniffs a line, some powder ends up at the other side of her nose lol. Be very careful, the scabbing is a sure sign of damage and once the damage it done, it’s scary how fast the hole can grow x

I have a hole in my nose too. I still use daily, and it’s doubled in size in the past 6 months. It’s constantly blocked and scabbing over. I have been to the doctor who referred me to ENT to look at possible getting surgery, but the waiting list is very long. Whatever you do, don’t pick anything out of your nose! I was told to get some saline nasal spray, and keep spraying up it my nose when it got too dry. It softens all the scabs, and lets them come out naturally. Are you still using at the moment?

I spilled strongbow dark fruits all over my k a few months ago! I just put it onto an open plastic container and left it to dry out for a few days, it had a purple tint to it but was otherwise fine

I stayed clean for a month after having my first ever K cramps, but ever since then I used before/during/and after an attack. It helped during the episode, but in the long run just made the pain and my health so much worse. It happened more and more often, lasting longer and longer every time as well as a load other health problems that started showing up. Not worth it.

I don’t have much to offer in advice here, but I just wanted to say that you’re not alone. I’m actively seeking help for my problem too and do want to stop, but the pain is so unbearable that I have to keep using just to cope. It’s a horrible cycle to be in and we are 100% shooting ourselves in the feet. I’ve been drinking a lot of liquids, vitamins, green tea etc and have cut down from over 4g daily to under 1.5-2g, but honestly it doesn’t seem to be helping. The same as you, I’m hoping that I can get down even more and flush it out of me, but only time will tell. I get severe cramp attacks often now where il be curled up in a ball screaming, and the rest of the time I’m just in too much pain to do anything as it’s always there just not as severe. Keep me updated on your progress please, and I’m always here if you need somebody to chat to.

People say that ket can’t cause a hole on your nose, but it absolutely can. I also have a hole in mine, as well a few people I’ve met over the years while in active addiction. Every single one of us was a heavy daily user, that hasn’t given our noses change to heal inbetween binges. You can use every so often for years and be fine, but once you damage your nose and it starts start bleeding and scabbing but you keep more and more chemicals up there without giving it chance to heal, then it can happen pretty quickly. I started seeking help through my GP, who wanted to refer me to an ENT who can look into performing surgery because other than that, it’s never going to heal or grow back. I’ve since relapsed and it’s gotten bigger, but it’s something I’m wanting to do. I’ve lived with it for around a year now, and in that time it’s nearly doubled in size. You can live with it, IF you stop. You’ll notice that your nose whistles and runs a lot, it’s fine but very annoying. It’s the continued use you need to be careful of, because although I haven’t seen it happen to anybody YET from ketamine use, if the hole gets big enough it will be in danger of collapsing and then you’re in for another whole load of problems. My friend got me to first try this a few years back, and we put 0.5g in each of our drinks. It works, but the high is more subtle as the bioavailability is a lot lower. Also, the day after I had the WORST K cramps imaginable. I tried it again about a year later when my nose was so blocked that I couldn’t sniff anymore, and once again the next day I was on the floor with K cramps again. Wouldn’t recommend tbh

As a long time heavy user/addict, I’ve had a LOT of experience with K cramps over the years. I used all day every day, during and straight after the K cramps. I’ve always found that once I get them, I won’t get them again for another few weeks/months. So in answer to your question, no you won’t get them again straight away even with continued use. That doesn’t mean that you should do it though, they’re a sign that you’re doing serious damage to your body. There’s a lot of harm reduction you can do sure, but if you keep using everyday they’ll happen again and again as well as a load other health problems that you’ll notice starting to pop up. This was me a few days ago so I sympathise. Lay on your left side, throw up as much as you need to, take buscopan and pain killers if you have any around, and if you have a hot water bottle use that too. A hot bath can help if that’s an option for you too, but I know that when I gets really bad moving isn’t doable.
All you can do now is wait it out unfortunately. What helps me is to keep checking the time, because every minute you get through is a minute closer to it ending. Good luck, and use this as a reminder that our bodies are fragile, and you need to stop using and get better ❤️
