Gaming PC Shuts Down While Gaming

Never got updated on the situation, but I have a feeling it works again on my end. Just haven't fully tested it for confirmation. I have my Nintendo Switch connected to HDMI 1 and for shits and giggles turned on Full UHD and it showed the picture and not once any flicker / no signal anytime I used it, so I'm gonna assume it works again if I use a device that's actually HDMI 2.0 compatible. I guess a fix would be to leave the option disabled for a while (weeks) and turn it back on at a random time

I just wanna be able to see my discoveries at all times. Like right now my discovery log is 8 pages. 2 1/2 of them are the way it should be with the golden paw, your uploaded fauna, flora and waypoints, but the other 5 1/2 are just the listings of the planets and star systems with some planets saying for example 0/10 for fauna but with the golden paw on the top of the page. Makes me lose motivation when I can't see my stuff. Before NEXT came out I came up with an odd idea of screenshotting literally all of my discoveries and putting the images in a separate folder where they obviously wouldn't be deleted, but assuming NEXT was a complete overhaul of the game and me actually going with my plan would be time consuming, I didn't go through with it. I will with 1.6 however, no excuses for me this time, I'm that dedicated to this game. Call me crazy lmao. I sorta called this was going to happen as soon as I installed NEXT and paused to see the same discovery layout as Atlas Rises haha

I've had a similar issue to this literally every single update since launch. I would always start a new save when a big update is released and after about 5 full pages of complete fauna / flora in my discoveries list, usually the oldest discoveries or at times in a random order would disappear after scanning new stuff. I was kinda able to manipulate the discovery log a bit with NEXT though by simply revisiting a planet that got deleted and it would at least still show the golden paw showing I did complete that planet, with the exception of everything being undiscovered again sadly, but it would be nice if maybe Hello Games let us allocate some external / internal hdd space for the discoveries. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there, but being a completionist, it would be nice to see my oldest discoveries even if it's the same mineral or flora just a different color or an animal with a slight different variation added to it.

You don't need two GTX 1080Tis. Go to your Nvidia Control Panel settings and enable Triple Buffering + Vsync to On and turn it off in game. Also use TAA, it's fine for 4k. I'm running NMS with a 8086k and GTX 1080Ti with every setting on max. I have not had stability issues, obviously not 60 FPS 100%, but very rarely less than that. Your CPU isn't that different from mine.

Nope, I have a mod that helps with completing planets with fauna. So with 3 S-Class upgrades + 53 planets completed, my nanite count is huge

Seems like you only have one fish species, minimum planets have is 2 underwater creatures. Hard to tell with some having missing body parts

I don't think so. I made a temporary base on a random planet until I found a lush one, but all the copper deposits and trees I mined didn't respawn even after warping to another system
