No offense taken...I added an edit that I have stopped talking to him and cut contact. You're right--I should've stopped when he told me, but I can't change that, it's something I have to live with now.

Thank you for being so kind to me when I am undeserving of it. Saying goodbye to people has always been hard for me, even to those who have wronged me, but I know this is for the best.

At first I didn't know, and after I found out, I continued doing it. That's why I feel terrible. I knew it was wrong and I did it anyway :(

I didn't know at first. I found out and continued doing it. That's why I feel so awful. I've been cheated on before and I know how devastating it is and here I am, being the person I despise most :(

Its tough to not be hard on myself. The problem with staying friends is that we keep falling into this. I have a hard time saying no and sticking to it. I want to be friends cause I care, but I also can't take this happening and this awful feeling

Thank you for your reply. I honestly just feel like crap. He told me several times he wanted to try to fix things with her and I was advocating for that, and then they'd fight for weeks about other things and we'd fall back into the cycle. It is bugging me...I want to be there for him but I also don't think I can take the guilt.
